Don't worry about the sarcasm dear, you'll get used to it soon. It will not stop, but I'll still give a best shot from my side. 😉

~ Expressions, for me, dance starts with its last letter, the E of expressions
~ Passion for the dance, for any dance
~ Smooth transitions and well executed movements
~ Excellent choreography, the kind Terence makes up and executes
~ Take everything in his/her stride attitude: Willing to accept mistakes and challenges - Dharmesh and Shakti
~ Wanting to always get better, and proving it - Kunwar Amar
~ Always moving, a bit like Siddhesh, even when not dancing (shows the sign of a dancer who loves what he's doing)
~ Versatility is not as important to me as trying is. Once a dancer is willing to try, I already very much appreciate the effort.

Of course, DID looks for the best dancer, which should have these qualities, and much more. But DID also has huge expectations by everyone, where trying or growing is not always enough. You've got to be the best, almost always, in almost every which way! 😉

I would avoid discussing individual dancers here. I just want to get a feel of what people on this forum looks for while seeing performance. Some talk about versatility and some about entertainment. There are some who knows about dance forms better than others and feel disappointed when dance forms are not used correctly. I give a lot of importance to over all effort put by a performer even if she/he doesn't know that dance form. If I have to take names then Kruti is the example. she was a classical dancer but she put all the efforts to learn these modern dance forms. Amrita is there, you can see the amount of efforts she puts in her performance. Yes a lot of people gets irritated because of her personality but then we are not judging personality here.

- versatility (but only if the act is good, like if someone just cant do classical or hip hop, but does one anyways and the performance is bad, then i dont like that type of versatility)
- do justice to the stye of dance and the act itself (the performance as a whole should be good)
- consistency (i dont mean consistency in voting, but like when am watching every week, i should notice that i am consistently liking that contestant's performance week after week, a couple of bad performances here and there can be forgiven)
- expressions (some expressions are required, but i wouldnt rate this as the most important aspect however)
- talent and hard work (believe me it shows when a contestant is giving their best, not only the contestant but the mentor whose training them as well, because even a really talented contestant wont be able to shine if their mentor doesnt put in hard work)
- entertainment value ( an act that is technically flawless can still be boring if it doesnt hold the attention of the viewer, some acts just hold your attention right through, and bring a smile to your face, thats what i want in a performance)
thats it for now, will post more if i can think of any 😊

Oh ya I missed the most important Choreography in my bullet points. Yes I love the choreography of Terrance and Remo's choreography was also good in few dances where he made Saajan and Punit brothers. I liked only 2 dances from Geeta. Jack and Amrita Duet and Dharmesh and Binni's yeh raate duet. I am assuming Dharmesh's churake dil mera was not choreographed by Geeta. We never know we may get plesantly surprised if Geeta's contestants get to work with Terrance. It would be nice to see more exchange rounds.

it would have been good Anewpost, if they did more mentor exchange round, seriously these contestants could learn so much from each of these mentors. and DID is such a huge opportunity for these contestants to learn from such talented choreographers, they should utilize it to their best ability
