Why Does everyone call him Sir?

Especially people on this forum, like is he YOUR master? 😕 I heard he teaches kids and they call him that.....okay fine

But why are people on this forum calling him that? I just find it weird and extremely not needed.

Have you seen the Vadodara auditions? You'll come to know why they call him Sir. That's where it all started, practically all of his students who auditioned that day received the topi to go to Mumbai. When the judges asked them who their trainer was, all of them said Dharmesh Sir. So in teh beginning, it was like a little mystery of who this "Dharmesh Sir" was .. until they finally found him!

Watch the audition..you'll get it then. =]

but then his real name is dharmesh yelende so why call him sir?

I think its becuase of Geeta..........even on DID2 stage, I think only Geeta calls him Dharmesh Sirsand I think she only started it ..............may be its her way to hype up her contestant !!!

But I agree, he should be called only Dharmesh and not Dharmesh Sir..........its bit too much.........

I agree people on the show.. should stop calling Dharmesh Saar.. as in Dharmesh Sir..

Whenever a master and Mithun Da call him Dharmesh "Sir" .. it appears as though he is being praised to heights..! (not that they should call him "saar")

He's a "Sir" just because he takes classes.. ??! Even Amrita's a teacher.. she should also be called "Mam" in that case.. 😳

I also feel at times that many members here are his students, with the way they address him as D sir... But what makes it annoying is everyone on DID - hosts, Geeta and Dada calling him Sir - it sounds like it's his title like the Knighthood in the UK!!!

agree though i call him sir sometimes he has gained respect cos many of contestants were his students and so he got suffix sir...

ok will call him dharmesh...cos afterall he is a student in DID

@akanna i guess geeta ma calls him sir cos as she had said she learns many things from him as to dada he calls him sir cos in his 2nd performance he had told him ki he does so well nice great that dharmesh is in the real sense sir for him

What ??! Jealous ????!!!! Jealous of what ??!!! I am not a dancer.. and neither do I believe the show to crown my favorites - Shakti, Amar and Amrita , as winner.. so, jealous of what ??! 🥱

And I think like Saajan said.. The true winner is someone who wins respect.. and not one who just grabs the title WITHOUT any respect, which had happened last season and is going to happen this season too, 'cos it is pretty obvious that D will be winner.. 😳

I agree with you !! He was like a mystery man.. I remember within two days of the episode.. I found his fan page on FB.. as in "Dharmesh Sir" ..I could also be late.. 😛 😳
