Do you think its fair that the judges choreograph the dances and judge them too? I personally think it is a little biased. The judges have a special bond with both the dances and contestants and will always try to say mostly or only good things about their dance even if there are faults. Also, if another judge criticizes a dance from their opinion, the choreographer judge will get defensive, (ive seen this a lot with Geeta) and say it was flawless. If you see shows like So You Think You Can Dance, even though some of the judges are choreographers, they never judge the performances they choreograph. So what is everone's opinion on this?

I believe its human nature to protect and defend contestants from your group! There are very few people out there that would actually seriously spill out how they really felt about a particular performance. Terence sir has tried his best to point out flaws even in this contestants. But he does fall weak at times! Each master does what they can to save their contestant from elimination and/or bottom 4. But I wouldn't blame them. I mean again I think its human nature to do that. Yes I would love if they could comment sincerely on the performance leaving out the factor that the contestants are from their respected team. Of course they are going to be biased! Any master would want their contestant to shine and be on the top! That's just how god made us all! 😆 Personally I feel that the masters should not judge their own choreography. But then again only they know if full justice was done to it or not as they are the ones who trained and choreographed them! Its like 50/50. I feel like they should have a right to have a say in their contestants' performances because only they know whether full justice was done to it or not. But then again they are going to do all that it takes to defend and be biased about their contestant. I don't know. You pose a very interesting question. Haha. Tough indeed!

I think they should make it like SRGMP, where opponent mentors and GM will give a mark, to the contestants. This will put more weight on opponent judges comments. It worked well in SRGMP, not sure abt DID =/ but that's definitely something to consider!

I know, a very tough question! I agree that I dont want judges to judge their own performance but I do want to hear their opinion on it.. Maybe the option Peace suggested would be a good idea but dont know if DID would actually do it!
