Choreographer Remo D'Souza, who is currently judging Dance India Dance – 2 has a special calling.
He recently held a dance show for the Children of Adapt Foundation and Bombay Spastic Society, where he performed on hit numbers from Taare Zameen Par and Saathiya. He tells us, "When I came to Mumbai in early 1990's, I used to take dance classes for a living. In 1994-95, I was teaching dance to special children on a regular basis. They respond very well to dance and music. I plan to launch my dance therapy classes next month. Working with special children is a concept that is very close to my heart. I hope to do something for them via my new endeavour."
An Indya source tells us, "When he choreographed for Taare Zameen Par, he was really moved after seeing all these special children and now it's like a dream for him. As of now, he is busy with his judging on the show and after that he will make a plan for fulfilling his dream."
Choreographer Remo De'souza runs a dance class by the name of Super Brats at Charni Road.
