Wow India Wow

Name of Dance India Dance should change to Wow India Wow and I am sure I can also reach top 10. I know I can not dance but I have wow factor. At least rose ko drop karke catch to zaroor kar sakta, I played lot of cricket. That is wow factor. I can also switch on switch off the light even my 2 years old kid does that, that is another Wow factor. And I will definitely want to go Terrence "Wow" Team, so my "wow" factor can be utilized better. If Terrence did not find any fault with Meenu's dance he tried to come with a loser sentiment and make "Wow" factor excuse. That is a lame excuse. Based on today's performance, Kunwar and Binny should be eliminated not Meenu and Dharmesh. Remo was absolutely correct. Kunwar legs were shaking when he tried to catch bag with legs, his summersault was faulty. He was the weakest along with Binny.

Wow India Wow, from now I will look for Wow factor only.

certainly wow factor is important. I don't know if Terrence should have said it just for meenu or not becuase she was not the only one lacking the way factor. but as a audience I believe the dance should be innovative and not just normal dance with few jumps here and there. like everyone can do that. off course we want something which will make us go wow and keep our attention throughout the performance.

if yesterday's cube act got 100% of my attention then I would say normal acts like meenu's and biny's will get around 50-70%

The infamous word 'Wow' at times is over exposed on Dance India Dance, but in today's episode, when Terrance utilized, he hinted it in terms of choreography, not suggesting just that a dance routine is only successful when it contains stunts or mesmerizing extraordinary effects. Think about it, when we view mediocre choreographies on screen, we mostly yawn and criticize it while stating that the presentation isn't imaginative enough, but if that same choreography contains a couple of innovative movements that maybe not all have seen and it makes the audiences ponder, then it stays within us. It's that simple.

All choreographers can create choreographies, duh. It's just a mater of who presents it in a way where we are dazzled.

For tonight's elimination episode, I was very much satisfied with it, because as stated earlier I had found Meenu's number strictly ordinary and at times her expressions were very forced and exaggerated. Binny's routine contained flaws as well as she wasn't able to complete her head stand at the end during the dance itself, she had missed a step, but overall if comparing her performance to Meenu's, it could be noticed that her act contained certain measures which were worth noticing, and that unfortunately was amiss in Meenu's act.

With Dharmesh, I felt no connectivity with the dance in anyway, and at times it was just simply excruciating viewing him to be adorned in such a weighty costume. With the very limited knowledge I had of the regional dance he attempted, I do not want to comment on it or be offensive in any way toward it, but if such types of dances require almost a year of training with the mind being on a certain plane to even perform it, it would have been better if Geeta had chosen to showcase a separate form of regional dancing.

All in all, tonight's elimination episode wasn't erratic for me at least.

I feel like Binny has immunity. Like MD has decided he will not eliminate her because she is Geeta's only girl, regardless of the types of performances she does. The thing that bothered me about Terrance's comments today was that a "WoW' factor is a very subjective term. Yes, there are certain things that immediate become "wow' factors, but it varies for everyone. I mean, I thought Meenu's dance was pretty neat, I mean, I cannot do anything like that and for me what she did was 'wow'. Yea, it didn't have any stunts, or immensely innovative choreo, but still for ME it was wow enough. Others might not feel the same way, just as Terrence, but I think such subjective judgments should not be made with such force. I mean, Terrence has every right to say he didn't feel like it 'wowed' him, but there was no need to keep going at it, just as Remo didn't need to jump the gun and get on the defensive. Just felt a bit petty. Each judge should have just said what they wished to and got on with it. And I think Geeta had no right to reprimand Meenu the way she did, it was rather rude. I don't know, today's episode made me view all the judges a bit differently. I felt that what Meenu was giving she did it smoothly, but Binny has many visible faults, but again, I think she has some sort of unspoken immunity.

Wow India Wow, you have really gone and made everyone who watches your show a bit naraaz for some reason or another.

CC, i agree with you..the show should really be called wow india wow..since a performance is now all about creating the wow factor..LMAO and yes anyone could be in top 10 lol anyways i also agree with remo about kunwar and binny being eliminated today..their dance was the weakest. thats for sure!

Why did not Terrence point out the lacking of "wow" factor for them?They had multiple faults in their performances too. I am Binny fan and have full sympathy with her that she has to go through Kasauti round after doing beautiful performances on Friday. But rule is rule. Terrence is dishonest and inconsistent. For me only 2-3 performances had the Wow factor till now this year.
