First of all, I don't agree with DID Season 2 format. Last year it was only after the 18 were selected, that Mithunda gave their groups to the contestants. I agree that there was not an equitable balance in all three groups in terms of talent last year.

Secondly, I am torn apart on the Dharmesh issue. I admit he stands out from the lot. He has lots of potential to make it to the finals. But as a viewer I find it interesting that he has been put on an even footing now with Geeta as the choreographer. She is the weakest of the lot, and Dharmesh is strongest of the batch. I feel for him, he is awesome and I used to root for him in Boogie Woogie(he even won!), and I will continue to do so in DID2. I just hope that Geeta does not fail him like she did Siddhesh. I personally don't think that this time that will happen. Because Dharmesh is PURE talent. He is so creative. DHARMESH SIR aap saab ki waat laga dena.

Pure talent never loses...if he has what it takes then he would make it there and might become the winner of this DID...regardless of who is master is.

And dont worry guys dharmesh sir will do well regardless of any mentor he gets !!

Dharmesh has amazing potential, what we saw in his first adition round was awesome! I cant even imagine what he can do after being trained by the masters. I think with his style he should e in Remos team, hes a hip-hop, duboyne, breaking dancer.

Geeta wouldnt be able to do justice with him. No offence

i agree i dont think that dharmesh should be in geetas groupp

i think the contestants should be given to the masters according to thier dance styles

i thiink dharmesh could go really far and do great things if he was with remo

But if the contestants were put with a master who does their style then how will they improve and become more versatile. Maybe they will be better in one/two dance forms but you want them to learn everything and be a great dancer overall like an all-in-one package.

Maybe Geeta didn't do well enough with Siddesh but c'mon he was still 2nd runner up! I'm not a huge Geeta fan at all but let's give her a chance to prove herself this season before we all have a go at her and her dancing/choreographing/mentoring abilities.

2nd runner up? i doubt it. i bet jai was, but they wanted the top three to be from all of the masters' teams. geeta is not up to par with the other judges, and that's pretty much a fact. also, not choosing amrita either means she's incapable of judging dancing, or she's trying to find other ways to win (i.e. bringing back amrita in wild card later). she knows she's not as good as terence and remo, and so do the contestants. im all for giving her a chance, but not with dharmesh. he has so much potential, and much of it will go to waste.
remo would be able to do wonders with dharmesh because not only can he hone dharmesh's forte and present amazing hip-hop choreography, but he could have branched out and made use of dharmesh's versitality. i'm talking about remo because dharmesh wanted to be in his team, and they should have honored that choice. terence would have been much better than geeta, too, obviously.

I always knew they would set it up so that it would be the 3 mentors against each other with the top 3 contestants but I'm not sure I would go that far to imply it was a fix cos for that matter, even the winner might've been a fix. Zee have the ability to count whatever votes they want to and discard whatever votes they want to-which defeats the purpose but hey there you go!

Geeta may well not be on the same level as the other judges but what should we do about it? You say give Dharmesh the option to choose his Guru. Well then all contestants would complain and want to select their own mentor and what if majority (if not all) end up wanting either Remo or Terence, then what? It is not practical at all to let contestants choose their mentors. Everyone has choices and preferences, I;m sure even the mentors have choices where they want contestants from their peer's teams but that's the way the game is and they have to play along. Personally, I would choose Amrita over Teena but if Geeta has made that choice then that does not make her an incapable judge by any means. She probably has better judging ability than us all, hell she's been in the film industry for enough time to know about potential and skills and what not. If she believes she can make Teena in to a great dancer and sees the potential then good for her because she is the one who has to teach them at the end of the day so it's only fair she gets a right on who stays and who goes.

Let's not forget Geeta also has a lot of assistants to help her with choreography (as do the other judges) so just because she's not a hip hop dancer, does not mean we will never see Dharmesh hip hop again.

I think we should save the complaining for later when maybe the level of performance drops, but hopefully it won't come to that stage. :)
