Simmi was immature and childish so her actions could be attributed to her behaviour.

Jaya, on the other hand, was the mature one - at least in the initial episodes. However, after the blasts, she lost her head. She was indeed the most annoying of the lot, especially because her change in behaviour was unjustified and unexplained.
