In her, I saw a passion for justice and truth
To speak for those that would not be heard
Bringing satisfaction to them, applying balm to soothe
Those that had always been subdued
In her, I saw a sense of responsibility
To not go against a promise she made to her father
For honor, respect, commitment and credibility
These are the things that truly should matter
In her, I saw a sense of fondness and warmth
For a brother that was not related to her through blood
To save his honor she willed to withstand her family's wrath
Not only because she believed in his innocence, but she was a sister that good

Her guiding light in times of confusion and conflict
