I loved the symbolism CVs gave today. Swa going up in the escalator and Adarsh coming down. It was a real beauty and showed the threshold of their relation also.
Swa is going up. See when you go up in life, when power comes to you responsibility is increased. Yes you will have freedom to do a lot of things with wealth and power. But if you don't use your freedom guided with principles then it wont take long for your freedom itself to go. Because at some point with no guidance, no moral compass if freedom is used you will trapped in the mesh you created and it does not take long for wealth and power to go. Along with that your freedom too.
Now coming to principles. It is easy to have your basic needs like food, housing, education etc all met and then talk principles, ethics. When you don't have to struggle for your basic needs it is easy to take moral high ground. What happens when your security is taken away. When you have to struggle to prove your stand. When you are put in a situation where you don't have wealth or power. When your freedom is curbed. What compass will drive you. Without freedom, what will you achieve with your principles, ethics.
To understand Adarsh, Swa has to understand power, its obligations. To understand swa Adarsh has to come down, understand the struggles of a common man. Their struggles. Their inability to open the doors of power. And they have to strike the balance. Balance of freedom and principle. That's the tipping point, that's the threshold which they will have to cross together. And once they cross nothing will be the same again.
