And this coffee sharing had happened only because Adarsh was grabbing a coffee after his morning jog when he saw Swadheenta trying to follow someone. After almost getting caught she spotted Adarsh, in order to stay out of trouble and out of sight she took Adarsh's offer and grabbed a coffee with him.
Adarsh moved carefully to not be caught, he saw Swadheenta on the across on the other side. He moved over to her side. Swadheenta was trying to decipher the guests going in and was trying to work out which one of them would've useful for a drunk confession. She also had an eye out for Mr Adarsh Sinha. He had offered to give her company, she seemed to be landing up in the same places as her most of the time these days, so why not agree to his offer. Atleast this time she would know about his presence. She slowly craned her neck to see if she had spotted the man who she suspected to have been behind some forged documents. She heard Adarsh whisper her name.
They exchanged their usual greetings and Swadheenta told him of the two people that she wanted to keep an eye on. Adarsh was carefully listening to her analysis on why she thought they needed something against these two people. He had to admit though a bit unconventional she did have a point.
A little after midnight:
After gathering little tidbits of evidence here and there. Swadheenta decided to call it a night. She had the worst headache and on top of that she would have to sacrifice a few hours of sleep to build her case incorporating the new evidence. She was walking back to her Scooty with Adarsh. She spotted a little roadside tea stall. Adarsh saw Swadheenta stop in her tracks and look at the little tea stall by the side. He smiled to himself, he could imagine all the extra work she needed to go through after going home.
Swadheenta suddenly looked at him and simply asked coffee? He nodded. They walked over and ordered two coffees from the old lady at the stall. Adarsh quickly said four sugars in one. Swadheenta smiled a little looking down.
That morning when Swadheenta got her coffee she ordered it with four sugars. Adarsh choked a little and asked four? She just said she likes really sweet coffee.
They grabbed their little coffee cups for the second time that day. They drank in silence whilst stealing a few glances at each other. Swadheenta was about to start her Scooty and leave, she looked over and thanked Adarsh for keeping her company and helping her with the evidence.
He simply said that she deserved all the help that she got, she was doing the work of a whole team just by herself. He also mentioned to not hesitate if she needs any other help. She started to head home. She still had the sweet taste of her coffee on her tongue and for some strange reason she knew that they were many more coffees to be shared with Adarsh, and a part of her was definitely looking forward to it.
Hey guys! Some of you commented on my first os in the series. So hopefully you like this one as well. I'm definitely planning to continue this series with different situations. They probably won't be in any sort of order, just whatever comes to mind at the time.
So, if any one had ideas for an OS they would like to read. Do drop it in the comment section.
Until next time then!
