Things started to change after US left Afghanistan and Taliban took over.. I think.
Pakistan has been expelling Afghan refugees in its country and maybe that's one of the reason Afghans have started hating Pakistan. Even before US leaving Pak, also many Afghans hated Pakistan...
I think Raj might know about it more...
Many Afghans have hatred toward Pakistan mainly because of its role in Afghanistan’s internal problems. During the 1990s, Pakistan supported the Taliban and even gave shelter to their leaders after 2001. Many Afghans blame Pakistan for helping groups that caused war, terrorism and destruction in their country. They feel that instead of being a good neighbor, Pakistan kept interfering and added to their suffering.
Another major issue is the Durand Line, a border created by the British, which cuts through Afghan land and divides the Pashtun people between the two countries. Afghanistan has never officially accepted this border but Pakistan treats it as the official one. This has caused tension for decades. Afghans see it as a loss of their land and culture and Pakistan’s strict control over this border adds to the anger.
Lastly although Pakistan gave shelter to millions of Afghan refugees during the war, many of them faced mistreatment, police harassment and were even forced to return home. Afghans feel humiliated by how they were treated. On top of that Pakistan often blames Afghanistan for terrorism while Afghans believe its Pakistan who supports extremist groups. These political games, past betrayals and constant tension have led many Afghans to deeply distrust and dislike Pakistan.
