Devkinandan Thakur had also claimed that there's Ladu Gopal inside the stairs of jama masjid in Agra Fort

after demolishing the temple of Krishna Janmabhoomi Aurangzeb stole all the ladu gopals and buried them under the stairs

they have appealed the masjid to let them check atleast for their sanity

bakaida baad mai stairs banwake denge

sab kyo koi secular hone ki baat nhi karta

yaha toh sirf seediyon ki hi baat hai

Bamiyan Buddhas stood in Afghanistan for about 14 or 15 centuries, in a muslim country, however once they fell, it brought an era of darkness which is going to remain for a long time.

Theocracies don't work, Ramrajya or otherwise. Sure there are some middle eastern countries but they happen to have the liquid gold around which the global economy works, and it'll fail soon, at most the reserves are gonna last for 50-60 years.

HOWEVER FOR ALL THE COMMON PEOPLE, who're participating and normalising this I hope yall take accountability and not throw the 'extremists' or 'corrupt politicians' for the misery, and failures which are inevitable. Just say that yes, we chose this, we wanted this, at any cost.

Given that Lanka was the "villain country" in the Ramayan and that the Sinhala people, to the extent that they believe it at all, have a special affinity for Ravan and not Vibhishan, I'm not surprised at them trying to de-Hinduize that country. Also, the reason that Sri Lanka is floundering is that they have a socialist regime: they were doing quite well economically during the Jayawardene era in the 1980s, despite the civil war. But it's quite different from jihad

I also disagree that theocracies don't work. The Byzantine empire was a theocracy & worked pretty well as long as it did, apart from the Turkish conquests of Anatolia. All ancient and medieval Hindu kingdoms were quasi-theocracies and worked pretty well too: Vijayanagar was particularly prosperous and thrived during the period it did, and was a central area of Hindu renaissance. Islamic theocracy doesn't work b'cos everything in that religion is hard-coded, & therefore, reform in islam is all but impossible. Although the Saudis & the Emiratis have been trying a version of it the last 8 years, so let's see how successful that is

Absolutely, none of these should be turned into tourist spots, they should be what they were meant to be ~ temples for those who have faith in the Gods, and there should be some basic etiquettes followed when going for darshan.

Yeah, like I mentioned elsewhere, either in this thread or the pran pratishtha thread, we need to have a clear demarcation b/w tourism and pilgrimage: one is not the other. People who have no belief in a deity have no business visiting a 🛕. If they are tourists & visiting either the mountains for a rope ride or the beaches to swim, they should restrict themselves to that. If they wanna visit the local 🛕, they should follow all the rules, such as dress code, b4 they venture in

Varanasi should not become Goa, just like Goa should not become Varanasi. Each has its place & role in India

There is a series of villains - Nehru, Gandhi, Indira, & a whole bunch of secularists over the decades, particularly regionally. Some day, we need to do to Gandhi & Nehru what the Russians did to Lenin & Stalin in 1992, when they deprecated a lot of their past communist heroes (even though they seem to be celebrating them in Ukraine today). Rajpath needs to be turned into a golf course or a parking lot. A lot of the tombs in Delhi, which take up prime real estate, need to be nationalized & repurposed

Noone is finding 'random places' to claim it as our holy places, these are 3 places: Ram Janmbhoomi, Kashi Vishwanath Temple and Keshavdeva Temple, that were always noted in multiple literary sources to be significant religious sites of our Gods, and Indian texts, Mughal accounts and otherwise note how their mandirs were mercilessly broken down by invaders over years who built their own structures over them. Moreover the demand is just for reclaiming these 3 places, noone is asking anyone to tear down each and every holy place, infact unlike other countries, we have actually preserved holy sites of other communities too for decades now. The people who built these new structures were not religiously inclined or significant in any manner either, it was more about showcasing supremacy by burying our idols under their feet or using the idols as to wash their feet, rather than any actual devotion to their God. I won't speak on the other countries, however India is taking a legal recourse with archaeological surveys to prove what is already visible to everyone, and are awaiting the judgement on it for further action, even from the other party. Biased media has the habit of decorating facts and presenting it to make it seem like minority rights are going to be hurt in this. Even in the Ram Mandir case, another land was provided to the other party to build their structure again. As for accountability, that needs to undoubtedly be taken by the COMMON PEOPLE on both sides to resolve it in a sensible manner. Hope this clarifies the issue for you.

Not quite. Once upon a time, I'd have been happy w/ just these 3, & compromising on the rest. But given what we know today of jihad ideology, we need to, at official level, repeal the Waqf Act and the Places of Worship Act, and let locals everywhere decide whether they wanna reclaim 🛕 that were destroyed & 🕌 built on top of them. In some places, they may choose yes, in some, they may decide to let the 🕌 be. That is fine, but it should be left to people to sort out by themselves, depending on local factors

As far as minority rights go, minorities should be told that their rights don't come at the expense of the rights of the majority

Precisely!

And like Kurukshetra, it will have to result in the Pandavas conquering the (known) world.

In this case, the Waqf Act & Places of Worship Acts need to be repealed, and Hindus, Jains, Buddhists & Sikhs be free to reclaim temples that were demolished by Turkish jihadists over the 1000 year period
