has she really gotten justice.

today at the episode's end Anoop said that the death sentence can be challenged in other courts...and i am sure it will be.

the real justice would they be hanged and quick..if it reaches high court then i am afraid how much this fight will go on...damn this system, who supports the rapists.

I guess the whole procedure of appealing in high court and then supreme court will take year and a half. At last if President also rejects the mercy petition they will be hanged within a month of rejection.

i don't think president would reject. we all have seen what happened to kasab. justice delayed is justice denied. if the law is not functional, why the laws are made in the first place.

and no i don't think that these death sentences would bring any fear in the mind of rapists. because when a person attempts a rape, he is never in his senses, all he cares about committing the brutal act, the world be damned.

as per what i read, all of the got sentenced to death and one of them hanged himself in prison

yes i know who hangged himself even the sentence thing i alady read.. but i just hope they are hangged till the end of sept. they dont even deserve to be alive..

As far as I know the date hasn't been set yet for their hanging. I think they have until some time in October to put in an appeal and if they do then the sentence gets frozen while the appeal case goes on.

But oh they so deserve to be hanged!

Why the hell gives them a chance to fight back..?? No criminal deserves this. Esp in rape cases. The Indian law and the law makers behave like uneducated fellows. For me, all their degrees are a big waste if they cannot provide real justice to the rapists esp that idiot minor.

And look at the minor...he's the brutalist yet he's let off with just a slap on the hand. It's like saying, "Oh you raped someone. What's your age? 15. Oh that's okay. Here, *slaps on wrist*, don't do it again."
