SWOT - Australia vs Bangladesh
SWOT - Australia
Strengths: The Aussies are on auto pilot. Hayden, Gilchrist, Ponting, Clarke... everyone's scoring runs. Brad Hogg is ICC CWC 2007's highest wicket taker, Tait and Bracken are also taking wickets and McGrath is coming into his own. And when was the last time you heard of an Aussie dropping a catch?
Weaknesses: That's a tough one, but bowling remains a slight worry for Ponting.
Opportunities: On current form, the Aussies can pocket an easy 2 points.
Threats: Bangladesh have beaten Australia once...
SWOT - Bangladesh
Strengths: Batting is the biggest weapon of Bangladesh. Tamim Iqbal and Shahriar Nafees will lead the way. Paceman Mashrafe Mortaza is in fine form, and so is spinner Mohammed Rafique.
Weaknesses: The team is dependent on a handful of players. After Mortaza and Rasel, there is not much to threaten batters.
Opportunities: Australia are coming into this on the back of the longest winning streak in ICC Cricket World Cups, they're ready for a statistical correction.
Threats: All sorts of threats. If they lose the toss and the Aussies bat. Big Mattie Hayden can end the game as soon as it starts.
