Is winning the only thing?

Hey guys,

Simple question...same as in Cricket Section.

Is winning at all costs important? It it the only thing that matters?

If your team play bad but win....is that good enough? or if they playy well and lose is tht stil bad?

So in WC is it Very IMP that you guys go through to atleast the next stage like Quater finals and so on.

But not just in WC, even in just league games is winning the only thing that matters?

Coz like England needed 3 points and fans prefer you winning games than loosing themn, so a win at all cost!!

hummm... winning is prolly a IMPORTANT thing, but I don't think it's the MOST imp. I think the MOST IMP is 1.) TRYING. 2.) TRYING YOUR BEST...and 3.) Being able to look at yourself, and think.. that yes, you did try.

If you play well, and lose..
it's not 'bad.' But then you should think .. why did you lose, if you played well? There must be a weakness, in your team play.. somewhere. So go from there...and try to solve the weakness.

hmm, i think winning is good. but i guess you can learn from your mistakes

no not where england team is concerend cos the fans want to see them play good and win cos if they win and play badly they still get panned in the press,

man utd who i support i dont care as long as they get the points, if they play good but lose then they still lost, so whats the point win at all costs

I wanted Chelsea to win at any cost, in momnets of desperation to win, the win is what matters and what people remember, they dont remember how wel you played, only remember if you won or lost the Big Games.

not for me i think the crowds nowadays want to win but want entertainment too,

like Vince Lombardi once said....."If it's not about winning, then why do they keep score?"
