What should have been advantages:

India playing field first. The ground was moist when Sri Lanka began playing so it should have been a batting pitch for india.

The umpires were going easy on LBWs, which we tend to get out for a lot.

This should have been a great if not doubtless win for india.

Things that went wrong:

SACHIN TENDULKAR. WTF MAN? for the past three games he has gone out with the lowest score, arent you supposed to be one of the best batsmen on the team?

Dhoni- i hated the way he just walked off the field without even waiting for the umpire to make his decision on his LBW. That is really disrespectful to all the indians that have been watching the match. Plus he let so many 4s go by that should have been stopped. And most of the time the slip kept changing sides so there goes another couple 4s.

I dont blame Dravid because he was out with 60 runs, which is pretty DECENT FOR A REGULAR PLAYER, BUT NOT EVEN CLOSE FOR A CAPTAIN.

Firstly "TEAM INDIA" doesn't look like a TEAM atall. They look heavily disjointed. There is something happening in the grassroots guys, so much money, best coaches, best players, so many matches, so LITTLE in outcome. I truly truly believe the WRONG is in the money, they really are investing way too much in the wrong places, tell me people how much more does Sachin or Dravid, or Dada or even Dhoni need to make in a year, we JUST don't have enough youngsters banging on the doors of selectors to keep the stars on the toes, so the money needs to trickle to the First Class, under19 and under 15. The money is going to their head, Australia has money but not as much as the stars of India.

Keeping the wrong players on the team.. ahem Sachin, Sehwag, there are more..the coaching, captaincy... ooo I could go on and on. But I'll stop, does it even matter to them?? I mean they'll mope around for a few days, and then wohooo its modeling, advertisements, shows. Anyway to get money.

EVERYTHING!! This is soooo disgusting.... disgusting I tell u.... DISGUSTING!! A team like India... with highest ODI scores, players with runs over 10000 runs not one, more than 1- i think both Dravid and Tendulkar.... it's mad!!! I mean Kumble... he also has a world cup record. It's mad how strong this team is... and for the cream on top of that well developped cake... THEY HAVE THE MOST FLIPPIN MONEY IN THE WORLD!!!!

I mean okay... Uthappa is still young, let him start a lil later... u can clearly see Dravid he isn't doing well as an opener... yet u make him an opener.

Sehwag has problems.. he's bald... he just can' play.. it looks like he has back problems i think... y r u letting unfit ppl to play... y on earth r u risking the respect of ur country.

Ganguly... i unno he played well in the other matches... i dunno wat happened here... i guess his luck wasn't with him.

Tendulkar... yo man get out... leave... just leaveeeeee.... u should be shunned from the world... u have no rite to stay in the team anymore.. like Inzimam-ul-haq.. it's time u retire as well.. end of ur career on with one 100 and then leavve... because now ur just a burden on the team, a player BCCI is prolly forced to keep on the team... Tendulkar as experienced as he is... he has back problems, has been playing for 15-20 years, I think that's enough.. adn he always has his ads to back him um.

Then there's Dravid... excellent wicketkeeper... excellent batsmenl.... DISGUSTING captain.... seems soooooo inexperienced. Let him play... but he really cannot make appropriate decisions for the team.

Dhoni... don't get me started on that freak... please.... freak... idiot... i can't believe we have him on the team.. he can't do anything... he can't bat, he can't bowl, he can't field, he can't wicketkeep... NOTHING.. natta... none.... gosh... which freak would keep him on the team.... and if he;s on the team... then y on earth are u still letting him play Dravid.. he sucks... let Pathan play... let Kumble... Shrishaant play.

Then the bowlers.. the little that they do, that's enough tooo for the team... i mean if our supposed excellent batsmen can't do anythin, then we can't expect historics from our bowlers...

oh and the person who should be convicted and punished is none other than.... humare pyaare Guru Greg.... what on earth is he doing... like God... In the last 4 years, he had the most money out any of the teams in the group, the best players, and team which could perform histronics... what does he do... he takes a team which got to the finals and brings them down to such a level where not only do they not get into the Super 8, but they loose from a team like Bangladesh... i mean did we really expect India's practice and preparation trying to beat Sri Lanka... i reallly don't think so... wat a waste of 4 years.

However, I believe that whatever happens, happens for the best... soo Inida lost, lost for the best... they better learn from this... because after soo many years, they will not be getting into the top teams... i mean come on the team which ppl expect the most from. As discouraging as this is, there willl always hopefully be the World Cup and hopefully a strong Inidan team.... and now when India goes back... because Bangladesh is for sure gonna win... they reallly need to pull their act together.

Their supposed team is soo divided... they want the best for themselves.. I mean when Yuvraj got out... Dravid was just standing there... he didn't move.. I mean the poor guy ran all the way to the other side, y don't u move.. don't just loaf around the bat like ur balls were doing at that point.

The only batsman that promises anything is YUvraj... poor guy got ... ah well..

but india really needs to pull their act together and do something to keep the respect and pride of India alive.... if they keep playing like this.. Cricket is gonna die away like Hockey did.

I know we can do it, we need more practice, like as soon as we go back, we need a stronger morale, less match fixing, more money into the acatual game, less modelling, and a compelete reform of the Indian team... and I mean complete reform... and great planning ahead of the Cricket world cup... not like wat happened this year... 2 months before the cup ur practising and testing ur skills and tryign to find the rite team... wat happened to 3 years and 10 months... gosh.

Anyways, those r my thoughts. I really want India to win and I wish they do, with Bermuda performing a miracle with Bangladesh. My hopes aren't dead yet, as aren't my hopes for the Indian team performing optimally at the next world cup! 😃

I want John Wright Back!! Not coz he guided India to the WC but he knows how to train the cricketers! 😊 I think Gre Chappell also shouldn't be blamed that much....although he has made some mistakes.....I think the cricketers should have performed well.....Greg is coach and acts like a teacher.....A teacher can only teach....He can't make a cricketer perform well!

The pressure of having to win got to them. They did well to get Sri Lanka at the score of 255 .The batting just failed.There was no consolidation when wickets were tumbling although they had crowd support.The Sri Lankan fielding and bowling was marvellous and added to this there was no pressure on them of having to win to qualify.

Don't be harsh on the team,cricket is a game of glorius uncertainties as we all know and at the end of the day,it's who play the better cricket on the said day wins.The Indian crcket team is still one of the best in the world and it's sad that they will not be in the super eight.

Hey guys maybe you all can support West Indies who is an underdog in this cup. Interestingly, they had an emphatic win against the Irish team and topped their group. 😛 well done Windies! 👏 👏 👏
