Rabada: Coming here about a week ago, could already feel the atmosphere. Great to see the support for us. Feels like a home game. Means a lot to play for South Africa. Given my all each and every time. Happy to do the job. It was moving around a bit. With the new ball it seemed harder to score. As the ball got softer and they showed intent, they got some runs away. But you always felt that, on this wicket, especially with the way they were playing, any ball had their name on it. That's all secondary (climbing the wicket-takers list for SA). Primary is to keep running in and doing the job. Means a lot to get past Allan Donald, what a legend.

It has taken South Africa just 5.4 overs to skittle out the last five Australian wickets, capping off a brilliant bowling and fielding performance. Having won the toss, the Proteas started with three maidens, putting the pressure on the Aussie openers. Rabada struck twice in an over, getting rid of Khawaja and Green. Labuschagne was looking solid, but he poked at a wide delivery, and then Travis Head was strangled down the leg side. Australia recovered in the second session with Smith and Webster buiding a partnership. The former looked busy, shuffling across the crease to make it difficult for the bowlers as he got to a fifty before losing out against the part-time spin of Markram. Webster, who survived an LBW shout early when SA didn't review, started scoring more freely to get a fifty off his own. Carey fell cheaply trying to reverse sweep Maharaj, and then the bowlers were bundled out by Rabada and Jansen, with the former picking up a fifer. A lively pitch here for the WTC final, let's see how South Africa respond with the bat.

Brendan : "Five wickets in 5 and a bit overs for 20 runs - a collapse of truly English proportions. When in Rome and all that…" It's been a habit of Australia's tail in recent years
