Two huge wins from Giants and they are back in contention for playoffs. With this 81-run win, they have moved to top of the table. Mooney's unbeaten 96 propelled them to a competitive 186 for 5. But Warriorz lost four wickets inside the powerplay, thanks to Dottin, Kashvee and Meghna's strikes. Harris stuck around till tenth over and Henry tried to lift the team with her cameo but it was never enough as the asking rate kept increasing. Kanwar picked up three wickets to eventually bowl Warriorz out for just 105.

Dottin set it up with two wickets in the first over and from there it was no looking back. Grace Harris was not allowed to get away to her usual aggressive start and wickets kept falling around her. Henry when she came in found the asking rate shooting up all the time and even though she struck meaty blows, her wicket meant the game was done for all purposes. Gujarat professionally completed the job as they won by a whopping margin of 81 runs. That win has improved their NRR significantly and they now lie 3rd on the table. Deepti Sharma: "It was a chaseable target and the outfield was pretty good. We lost back to back wickets and couldn't chase it down. Our top 4-5 needs to take initiative and we repeated the mistakes from the last game. Hope we don't repeat it in the coming games. The wicket looked good in the first innings and we wanted to build partnerships. We thought we could chase it down if one batter had batted through. Our middle order needs to improve, we can't only rely on our bowlers. Our batters need to step up, including myself."

Phoebe Litchfield: To come out here and play the way we did - very happy camp at the moment. We had a really good practice session yesterday under lights at the practice wickets. Were the best wickets we played on in India so far. We figured that it'll be similar conditions in the middle. The way our openers assessed conditions early. Moons let us know it's a good wicket and we need 180-plus. Comms was a massive part for us batting first. Really pleased with how we went about it. She's a 360-player. She was putting balls outside leg over cover. Once Beth Mooney is in, it's really hard to get her out as we've found out in domestic cricket back home. Once she gets over 20, you're in trouble. The way she hit the ball tonight was spectacular and a pleasure to watch. The way Dottin opened with the ball, and Kashvee, was spectacular. The way they have so much control and made the ball swing early, it was a clinic to watch from first slip. All of us took our chances and backed each other in the field. When you lose two-plus wickets in powerplay, it's tough to come back from that. Hopefully that's lifted our very negative NRR.
