What a first day. Plenty of action. After two tied sessions, India appeared to claw ahead after Jadeja-Washington eventually bowled NZ out for 235. And then looked set to hammer in the advantage with the partnership between Jaiswal and Gill. But two overs of silly cricket (you have to call it that, given the circumstances of the day, the Test and the series) has derailed their progress magnificently.
