KR star Venkatesh Iyer ties the knot with Shruti Raghunathan; pictures go viral

Kolkata Knight Riders’ star Venkatesh Iyer exchanged marital vows and tied the knot with Shruti Raghunathan. The all-rounder was a part of the IPL 2024 winning side led by Shreyas Iyer, where they defeated Pat Cummins’ SunRisers Hyderabad to lift the title for the third time. After bringing the title home, Iyer got married to his fiancé Shruti Raghunathan in a traditional South Indian wedding ceremony on Sunday, June 2.

Venkatesh and Shruti’s wedding ceremony was graced by their respective family members and friends. The couple had got engaged in November 2023. The pictures of the couple’s wedding ceremony started going viral on social media, and wishes poured in for the newly-weds from fans across the world.

According to Indian Express, Shruti is a Merchandise Planner and works at Lifestyle International Private Limited in Bengaluru. She pursued her B.Com degree from the PSG College of Arts and Science and holds a Master’s degree in Fashion Management

Powell also acknowledged his team's recent success, which has propelled them to the fourth spot on the ICC Men's Team T20I Rankings before the tournament.
