First things first, it's bright and sunny in Colombo this afternoon and we should hopefully have a full match. Remember, there's no reserve day for this game and the teams will share points in case of a washout. That's something Bangladesh don't need after their loss to Pakistan in the first match of the Super Fours. On a plaid track in Lahore, they failed to assess the conditions and the bowling, and were guilty of throwing some of their wickets away. That loss has put them in a must-win situation and they're up against another co-host Sri Lanka today. The hosts of the day are on a winning spree and have won 12 matches on the trot - Only Australia with 21 wins have won more successive ODI games and that means Sri Lanka have a lot of incentive going into the match. On form, they start as favourites but Bangladesh with their bowling variety could be the team that can stem their winning run. Toss and team sheets coming up shortly..

Hamza: "How is the weather? Chances of rain later?" There is rain expected later in the evening, so yes, keep your DLS calculators ready.

While Bangladesh's batting has been termed "hot and cold" by captain Shakib Al Hasan, they have a pace attack that can trouble the best and they will be up against Sri Lanka's very reliable top order, so that will be a battle I am looking forward to. Mohammad Isam looks at all this and more in his detailed preview.

2.20pm While Sri Lanka's top order has been impressive, the lower order has left something to be desired and head coach Chris Silverwood has called upon Dhananjaya De Silva and Dasun Shanaka to "provide the firepower" as finishers.

Shakib Al Hasan - We will field first, no particular reason, there could be some rain around. We have one extra bowler and we will bowl first. A must-win situation, but playing against Sri Lanka in Sri Lanka isn't easy. There is no room for complacency, it's a bit different to pakistan and we'll have to adjust. One change, Nasum replaces Afif Hossain
