Loss to Eng also probably means a SF exit for IndW in the semis against Australia.

Unless Harman or Smriti come up with something extraordinary in that knockout game.

This is an excellent bowling performance from England. They had a par total on the board but India never got ahead in the chase. Shafali went early and Smriti, apart from that one over against Katherine Sciver-Brunt, where she smashed four boundaries, struggled for most parts even though she got a fifty. Richa tried her best towards the end but the asking rate was way above her reach. England's spinners were instrumental as they put the squeeze in the middle overs and didn't allow India to score freely. This is England's sixth consecutive win against India in T20 WCs and they have never lost to them.

Nat Sciver-Brunt | Player of the Match: It was tough. They were getting it to seam a lot, the girl (Renuka) got five wickets bowled brilliantly. We had to soak it up a little bit but make sure we put our foot forward and take the attack on as well. It depends really, if I got one off the middle of the bat early then it is the best feeling, but it did take a while today. We didn't get the start we wanted but we were good in the middle and ensured we kept going for the boundaries. It was good and great to have atmosphere like that.

India's lack of power costs them with the bat eventually! And how would they have benefited with more strike to Ghosh after Mandhana's fall. Ghosh is dejected but then shakes hands and walks out. She's yet again put in a valiant effort, but didn't get the desired support from the other end. Should India have sent Vastrakar ahead of Deepti? Did they play too cautiously in the first ten overs? Lots of questions that India will have to find answers to. England extend their record against India at T20 World Cups to 6-0.

Win against Ireland would seal the Semis space comfortably for India.

This was a win gifted on a platter. Winning this game would have meant a final spot almost confirmed not just semifinals. Now after we beat Ireland, we will have to face the aussies in semis and if there is any rain then we lose out the match because we finished 2nd in table.

Time for Harmanpreet to show her Raudra roop like she showed us in 2017. Else no chance.

Anyways it seems like Harman performs only vs AUS. Like she has fixed narrative that she will perform vs aus since strong team but she misses out on other games. Like if today she played well it was an easy win.
