My computer is very slow in opening documents and programs. To open a browser page or a program I have to wait for minutes. I frequently get warning that "your computer virtual memory is minimum & too low". Could anyone advice me as to how I can remedy this problem...

Right click on my computer> Advance > Performance (visual effects........) click on Settings > then Advance > Virtual Memory ( press change)
and change the size of virtual memory n press set n ur done :)

My Windows Vista Home Premium laptop is now 1 year old. Despite regular defragmentation and scans it has become very slow. Total HDD size is 180 gb, n 70 gb is free. Please suggest something...I'm transferring some data to my other computer.

N can anyone suggest a good anti-virus/anti-spyware software?? Currently I have the latest versions of AVG and Avast.

How much ram do you have in your system??? Becareful...Vista does not play nice with a full hard drive and low memory...Best thing to do is get an external drive and store the heavy files etc....Last resort after off shoring the files could be a reinstall? Its a scary thought..But it should be super last resort...For antivirus...I dont know...I dont use one😕
