buying a laptop for personal use

Hey,

I would like to buy a laptop, budget is around 35-40 thousand. The usage is mostly going to be daily office work with email/excel/word and I'd guess a decent bit of movie watching. Looking for something that would do fine with even HD movies and a bit of light gaming(nfs, etc) for 2-3 years. Preferably a 15" or 17".
I am interested in Acer Aspire GemStone Notebook let me know if there are any models

rite now i am in india? Are prices in US are better than here?
