Bye Bye MII..My sincere condolences for the Premature Death

The show, which was commissioned for 26 episodes, was reduced to 13 because of its poor run. And now, we can confirm that it will indeed end after 13 episodes -- even the shoot has wrapped up. The cast and the crew shot the last episode on April 18. Actor Krushna Abhishek, who was roped in as Manish Paul's replacement, shot only two out of four episodes as per the contract.

Says a source associated with the show, "As reported by your website, the show is ending after completing 13 episodes. It failed to generate sustainable ratings."

The show is expected to breathe its last on May 4. MAI began in February, a few months after Sunil quit Comedy Nights With Kapil, where he played Gutthi. Sunil didn't revert to our text message.

Lol bechara sunil superstar of comedy night with kapil 😛 thought something but happens something else.i do not like gutthi not even like sunil but first time I feel sorry for him.

even before MII was launched I had told
sunil/guthi is good only for a side dish, not a full wholesome meal
happy that things turned away exactly I had predicted
here in this forum...

I think sunil grover has committed a blunder
by leaving the show... he did probably
over-estimated himself too soon...
only time will tell whether his judgement is right...
but before leaving the show he should have
remembered that comedy nights even
piped Big Boss and kaun banega crorepati...
the formatting of the show and the impeccable
presentation of Kapil to carry a show on his shoulder entirely
might not be possible for for sunil grover...
this was proved in the recently concluded show
of Zee-rishtey award in which sunil grover
failed miserably...to impress ...on her own...

seems my worst fears have come true
today MAD in India was launched and it has
confirmed my views that
gutthi might be a good side dish but not the whole meal...
there is no laughto-meter, by inviting baba Ramdev they have
shot it in their foot who tried to sort of politicize it...

seems Mad in India will fall on the wayside after a
couple of episode...
this episode might attract a few more viewers
not because of content, but because of followers of ramdev (I am not one of them)
who will watch it no matters what...

but the future seems bleak...

I hope sunil does have some self respect and never think to come back cnwk .why gutthi need to return she was boring even bua is far better then gutti. Sunil need to stay home and think properly then take some other project, he need to refresh himself.
