how can Sunil leave the show who gave him so much popularity in a short period which show touching the milestone.Gutthi is a character which is popular in only comedy night with kapil not in comedy circus.Viacom using gutthi character for his show after do many changes in this character.he leave the show (no problem) they r thinking the replacement of the Sunil, how can Sunil copy the same character while the same character already is using by Viacom.in professional life copy is strictly prohibited.

But this is only the one part of the story , we are saying this because sunil grover did the role of ghuthi before "Comedy nights..." also, Sunil grover was seen in the role of a villager girl in Comedy circus (which used to air on Sony) where his name was ghuthi... But no one can deny the fact that "Ghuthi" become popular from "Comedy Nights With Kapil" before that no one knows ghuthi. So now its interesting to see in future and to see what is in the fate of "Ghuthi ", it's all legal matter...

Sunil was not popular due to CNWK alone. He was popular on Sahara, Filmy, Sony and for brief while on Channel V and Sab also. Apart from work in Comedy Circus and some films like Ghajini.

Character copyright is odd and I wonder how can they issue notices like this! Kapil did Shamsher in Laughter Challenge on Star One and later he did the same acts in NDTV Imagine's show with Raju Srivastav and also in Comedy Circus and has done that character in his Colors show also. Did Star guys cry foul why he was doing that act on other channels? Then why only Viacom 18 is burning if Sunil performs an act with similar get up and mannerisms elsewhere? 😲

They are just insecure of this character and acts being lapped up elsewhere. Gutthi was popular and people used to copy her mannerisms a lot. Especially kids liked that act a lot. The channel and PH know this and seem insecure of the fact that it might become popular elsewhere.

They can take any other comedian for replacement of Gutthi in Comedy Nights. But no one can do it as well as Sunil did.

I wish Sunil hadn't left and there weren't any fallout. They were all a fun team to watch. Full on entertainment it was.
