Kangana Ranaut on Comedy Nights with Kapil

From the ashes rose the phoenix...errr Kapil. Well atleast that's what we expected. Kapil started fresh unfazed by the recent accident. The audience were eager to see their beloved Kapil and Family and the wait was even more significant since from this week the show appears only on Sunday nights. Athough the viewers were kept entertained by 24 on Friday and Saturdays still nothing compares to kapil. After the unfortunate fire incident on the sets of Kapil's show, it will be shot on the set of Bigg Boss until it is restored. The hired set was converted to daadis's gaaon', where the family has shifted for the time being.

In the village everybody had their own complaints. Where Bittoo complained about the roofless house and the international press conference'(lol), Bua's problem was more ancient. On the contrary Daadi was happier to be back in the village where her childhood romance was reignited with the village sarpanch (Ghuggi). Daadi's lover turned out to be a real pain for Bittoo who kept pestering him with ghar jal gaya par aur koi nuksaan to nai hua?'

Kangana Ranaut appeared on the show to promote her upcoming movie rajjo, love story of a seventeen year old and a sex worker (yes people that's the kind of cinema we are letting our vulnerable young impressionable minds, to be exposed to!!!) . Anyways she was there and had both Kapil and (for a change) Siddhu paaji spinning like a top. In jest Kapil even changed the name of the show to Romantic nights with Siddhu', HA HA HA... Besides that Kangana being leg-pulled for playing a drunk, in most of her movies, was a recurring laughter maker on the episode. Like every episode Siddhu was on a roll but somebody please tell him explaining a joke, KILLS it, paaaji!!!! And please stop saying lovey-dovey', its getting boooring.

There's no question about Kapil's comic sense, he can make a joke out of anything so was this episode. But the fans really missed the old house so much. This comeback episode had all the comedy nights with kapil' elements, from jocosity with the audience and the guest to Bua to Daadi's escapades and the gestural babaji ka...' but for us the real fun came with Guthi and Palak. Guthi performed gidda and palak received a quick class on her walk,from Kangana (It mostly looked like she needed one herself lol !!).

The episode wasn't as funny as we are used to but we had to give it away for the spirit, in which it was done. Kapil stuck to what they say the show must go on' and it did, with just one star less.

In just a few months' time the show reached a significant status, posing a threat to its creator, the successful comedy circus. So much so that they changed their show time to 10 pm Sundays, in order to split the audience or maybe run a check??? Well that is for them to know and for us to guess. In comedy nights, we found our own kumar's at no.42' and we sure as hell aren't giving up on them yet. Well that's it on Comedy nights with Kapil from us this week.
