Well, Indian television and films in the crime investigation genre is still forensically challenged....latent fingerprinting allows you to recover hidden and invisible fingerprints even though there's a chance of error in arriving at definite results....the other types of fingerprints are patent and plastic.Sometimes, the criminal feels that he/she has erased the fingerprints but that's not really the case as you cannot see them clearly with a naked eye....that's why cool criminals use handgloves to leave no traces.
