If this is the case then why did sonytv is canceling the episodes. Tomorrow at 10:30pm crime patrol will air. I hope everything sorts out befor its late. Till then enjoy this good news

I'm glad that he said that, but I agree, it still doesn't explain the sudden cancellations, the move to 10:30, and all the rumours.

As you mention Kapil, do you think acquiring the show helped Sony scale up?
Kapil is an amazing success story not just for the channel but also the actors and writers involved. They not only reinvented themselves but brought along an original set of humour and performances. One success snowballed into another; from Kapil we worked towards Super Dancer and then the revival of CID and Crime Patrol. Now, we have Beyhadh and if we get Peshwa Bajirao right, it would lead to another joyous story. TV is a habit that builds with time and we hope we manage to get audience hooked to us through our differential stories and characters.
Fair enough. Lot has been written about CID's future. Is it going off air?
CID is an important pillar for Sony TV and it is really doing well for us. It is definitely not going anywhere. It's been 18 years and revamping its look, feel and presentation of stories will only polish its quality.

CID is taken as granted and most mistreated show on Sony. Sony wants the fruits but doesn't respect the tree.

The problem is that they are losing viewers because of that. My parents were of the idea that 18th December was the last episode because they saw that false news about Satam sir getting a heart attack and then an episode that was supposed to air on 26th Dec. When they didn't see any episodes for the weekend, they thought 18th Dec was the last episode until they saw the precap. Even then it took me a while to convince them to check this weekend as well. And they aren't alone. I've had a few friends mention the same. I mean you can convince those you know have stopped because of misinformation, but who knows how many people there are like that!

A really dissapointing and frustrating act fone by sonytv don't why it did so..

After so many days sonytv posted a tweet on #cid wishing happy new year and provided a link. The link is invalid, means after so many days a single tweet but still not proper. And moreover you will be surprised to know that some links are provided for Indian Idol and TKSS and they are working. Only cid's tweet has a problem.

Totally confused what sony wants to prove by this???
