I agree. In context of this poem, it should be swabhimani as 'abhimani' is haughtiness and swabhimani, 'self esteem'. So, if not going literally but poetically, then, swabhimani fits in here, more.

Plus, swabhimani word is there in Bengali too. Agar waisa hota toh poem me hi use kerte.

And abhimani word ka use literature me hr jagah alag tareeke se use hota h. It depends how, where n for whom the word is used. Swabhimaani is to highlight n specify that the person has 'abhimaan' for himself. So in this case both swabhimaan n abhimaan would fit but to use 'abhimaani' would be more correct for translation perpose as it is used in the original poem.😊

Cid ne unhe rula rula k mujhe strong bana diya h. Warna pehla epi cid ka mera behroopiya tha and I had cried without even knowing anything about the characters bond between all.😭

Itna hasi aana bhi ek chiz ka symptom h u know.😉
