Any real and loyal junior will jump into fire instead of even thinking of touching their senior's house. What does our dear Purvi do? First show fake sadness about doing it and then start proudly showing the bloody shirt to all like she just found a Noble Prize. Why?? She thinks it will get medals for her and make her the new Senior Inspector??

Too bad that we know she never deserved to be in CID and today she LOST all right to be in the show at all. 😡 😡

And who made her that dedicated cop?? Seniors. So she will now turn and bite the hands which fed her?

Hide the shirt, or jump from the window and kill herself instead of doing something that will cause harm to senior, that is real loyalty. What do you think Vivek or Tasha would do? And what she did??

Anybody could have read those expressions when she found the shirt, it was like, "Oh no! But i have to do it". Did she rushed towards Daya sir demanding explanation? That was a silent gesture that she processed and it is strongly felt by me. Without a word, she handed over the shirt to Abhi sir. Still you wanted her to spoil evidences and charge herself of cover-up and deface her good impression in eyes of seniors? If you had trusted Daya sir's innocence, you never would have opened this thread. Because a law abiding cop like Daya sir proves himself in such scenarios. And you want Purvi di to do something that could have damaged Daya sir's reputation once and for all? And mayhap he would never be able to stand by himself in future

And your reply to Vis has proved you need help. I don't feel like answering it. Do suicide just because you have located a blood stained shirt and that too when forensics hasn't matched DNA and even if you conclude it somehow through your experience, and yet you know its a plot then go and kill yourself because illicit act is far better then discussing it calmly with seniors and giving a helpful lift upto your confidence for defending your comrade? Pathetic!

Vivek and Tasha would do exactly the same thing. there is one such episode in 2008 where ACP asks Vivek to choose between duty and friendship with Daya. I wouldn't respect any cop who would jump off the window to avoid duty.

Hats off for finding fault in that scene

I hope Visrom's and Saman's reply would more than suffice for your question.
Even if the person is a blood relation, for a dedicated officer duty comes first. You must not have seen the ACP sir shooting his son episode then. If his son mattered to him much more than his duty, then according to you ACP sir should've blasted his own cranium instead of shooting at his own son who proved to be a traitor. Examples are infinite to show a dutiful cop, among the 1261 episodes in the history of CID.
As Visrom rightly said, a dedicated cop puts forth duty first.
And for your kind information, please refrain from using the word "disgusting". It has a much more deeper meaning than as you have used in the context.
And if you personally felt she didn't deserve to be in the show, then it is your problem. Why include us.? Most of the people appreciate the actress for the work she does and laud the role of the cop she plays most satisfactorily in the show.

TVD,
As mentioned above by Vis di,Saman and Reshu, I think all the points should be clear.
For a dedicated cop, duty comes first and not emotions, friendship, which is shown many times in CID.
Purvi did exactly what any duty bound cop was supposed to do in similar situation.
As for the thread name, "I disagree". This was simple and straight & there was no need for this thread.

I think everyone has put it perfectly. Simply handing over the shirt to Abhijeet sir does not make it a negative action. You could see her reluctance and moreover, how could one know what exactly the blood on the shirt was until it was tested? In order to find out who was framing Daya sir, the examination of the shirt was crucial and she would have actually harmed him if she tried to hide it.

I have nothing else to say except please don't use ad-hominem attacks on actors/characters.

Purvi has done her duty only. What she did absolutely right. Any ideal officer would do the same.
Btw, Every 1 has replied nicely...so i don't think i need to elaborate separately.😊
