CID Written Update: Jaal CCTV Ka : June 27th, 20115

Written Update: Jaal CCTV Ka

One man is served his drink at his house when the man asks his cook to go get his suit. The latter leaves and on reaching the door, a CD falls inside. He goes out to find who it could be. He gives it to his master, who on playing finds the most recent events that had just happened in his own house. He is shocked and breaks every object that he could lay his hands on in his desperation to find the camera. Someone is watching all this. Just as he picks up a hammer, the power goes off.

The cook comes to a shop and requests to make a call. The shop owner asks so many questions which clearly annoys. The cook says that his phone battery was over and that it's urgent that he makes a call because he had to go to the laundry too. The shop owner consents but demands 10rs for a call to which the cook agrees. He makes the call and asks someone on the other line why the job was getting delayed and that he did not have time. He returns and finds the gate closed. The watchman opens it telling that he had closed it because of the powercut. He calls to his master and tells that he should have it the candle from the drawer. He looks for the man and the power resumes and he finds the man lying dead.

A lady in the apartment answers the door because she had complained of a repaired set-top box. She goes inside, brings a bag when she is stopped by an apparently tyrannical husband who demands where she was going and who it was that was standing outside. He answers carelessly and gives the man the bag and closes the door. The man outside finds money there and the shouting in the house begins. The man comes back and tries to overhear the conversation between the couple.

Duo and few from the team are here. The bullet had struck him straight near the heart and no other signs of wounds were there. Nik reports that the windows and doors showed no signs of forced entry. They question the servant(Cook) and he says whatever has happened. They guess that the intruder must have used a duplicate key and asks the servant who denies giving anyone any money. Purvi finds something that is used in the banks alone to bind currency notes together, (meanwhile the servant hurries into the room and pockets the CD), and they find a cheque book which had the record of a withdrawal of 5lakh two days ago but Purvi says she didnt find such a huge amount anywhere in the house. Daya searches the servant and finds nothing with him. The servant says that the day before, a Ria had come to meet Harsh (the man) and return some book. Duo leaves him to Nik and goes to Ria's house.

Ria's mom and her chachi tell them that Ria had gone to college and that her phone would be switched off. Daya tries the number but hears the same. He asks Purvi to check the house. (someone is watching all this). Just then Ria's dad, her bro and her chachu comes in and they all tell the same reason. Purvi brings in Ria's ID card and books. Finally Ria's mom breaks down telling that Ria was missing since last night. Abhijeet tells that they all knew Ria was Harsh's girlfriend and had gone missing since his death and that they had all left their jobs midway to search and find her but in vain.

In the bureau, they discuss many possibilities where Ria must have gone to Harsh's house to steal the money and had absconded from there and that all the broken stuff in the house were a result of the fight between the two. Freddy informs that Ria's phone was last at Malad market from where it got switched off.

Daya, Nik and Shreya pan out and inquire at the Malad market but without much results. One man recognizes Ria and tells that she had been followed by a girl after that. The man had asked a Mihir, who was working in Flashnet Cable which was the one used in their respective houses. Mihir lived at no.602.

They reach his house and Ria opens the door to find CID. Mihir comes in and the team pushes them inside and they confess that they were lovers and were planning to run away. They say that Harsh was a very good friend of theirs. Nikhil finds a set top box and some cash, which Mihir (the cableman earlier) as Noopur's and that he had not returned the money because the couple were fighting and that he didn't want to add to the misery. Asked about wehre they were between 8.30 and 9.30, they say that they'd gone for a movie and Mihir gives them the ticket for evidence.

Sachin informs that the serial number on the notes from Mihir's house and those which Harsh had withdrawn matched with each other. They decide to question Noopur.

In Noopur's house, she stays tongue tied to the team's questions. Piyush says that she had been badgering him for 5lakh rupees and the team tells that she had killed Harsh and looted the money. She denies both and tells that Harsh had given her himself and reveals that Harsh was her husband. The flashback shows the two talking about Noopur's fears of getting caught. Harsh pacifies her telling that he wouldn't go to the police when all the looted amount was black money. He says that he had bought a flat and that she had to live with Piyush who was a perfect target. and he promises to drop all this once Piyush was done with. She says that Piyush was her 3rd husband and that Harsh had given her the money to give Mihir.

In the bureau Mihir and Ria are questioned. They confess to blackmailing Noopur and Harsh. Ria says that she was book freak and that she borrowed books from Harsh and returned after reading. One such time, she had found the wedding pic of Harsh and Noopur. The flashback shows Ria and Mihir meeting in a hotel and Ria tells him everything about the pic and shows him the same. Mihir puts it down telling the mangalsutra was not visible and perhaps the man might throw it back on their faces. Then Mihir says he knows a man but he didnt want the man to know her and so he asks her to sit in another table. The man turns out to be Gopal, servant. He gives the album as a proof of the wedding, which he had successfully got while he searched the almirah. Gopal requests Mihir to not take his name in front of Harsh. Back in the present, Ria hangs her head in shame as ACO sir tells that she had been at Harsh's to get money from him while her parents' thought that she was Harsh's girlfriend. ACP orders to find Gopal.

Gopal hurries into a shop to get a copy of a CD when Daya sir catches him. In the bureau, they find that the CD carried footages of the drawing rooms of many people's houses. Gopal says that the CD was thrown from the door and he didn't know anything about what and how these jobs were being carried out. Daya says that all the mirrors in the drawing rooms of many houses were similar.

Soon the team is on its task of taking out all the cameras. Gopal is on the phone telling someone that CID has found all the cameras. He tells that no one knew that he knew who the killer of Harsh was and they would now be phasaofying him and getting money from him(some man). He also says that the CID wouldn't arrest him because he had told them that Mihir and Ria were lying. Just when he opens the fridge, the power goes off and he is confronted by a hooded man who threatens to shoot him. The CID closes him in but he escapes by shooting the light. They chases him and after a long time, Daya and Nikhil find a door inside which many PCs were there. Getting inside, they find the culprit too who turns out to be Ria's chachu. Daya slaps him. The flashback shows Ria's chachu and Harsh talking with each other and the latter telling that he and Ria were just good friends. Somehow the chachu lets slip that he saw Noopur receiving money from him and Harsh understand the mystery behind the footage CD and attempts to call the police when the chachu threatens him with the gun and kills him. ACP sir delivers the final sentence saying he would be punished severely for attempting to interfere with people's affairs.
