CID Written Update 04/03/2015: Byomkesh Bakshi ki Talaash
At a Resort:
A husband(Sameer) arranges a grand party on event of birth day of his wife (Naina). Naina and Sameer are surprised upon seeing a lady guest (Bindia).
Flash back:
Bindia stops Sameer and Naina car and asks for ride to hospital where her husband is admitted. Naina accepts.
Present:
Sameer and Naina address her as Bindia, but she declines and introduces herself as Shaila and her husband as Veer ( Well that means hosts know neither her, nor her husband, Why and how did she come then? 😲). Sameer decides to find out. He takes Bindia/Shaila to a room to talk. Suddenly there is a gunshot and Sameer falls from stairs and die. One man in the party is observing the happenings.
West Bengal:
An old man (Bhadralok) is worried about his bhateeja (Abhay, the guy who was observant at party). His daughter (Charuma) Assures him everything will be fine and the guy they are worried about has gone out of city for some work. They receive a letter from Byomkesh Bhakshi (another Bhateeja of Bhadralok) that he would be arriving for a week stay the next day. Charuma asks her baba to sleep and proceeds to her room to take medicine for her tooth ache and go to sleep. Bhadralok also takes some medicine. ( Now it's a perfect plot for murder, Someone took tranquilizer and someone took some medicine)
Back in Mumbai:
CID team ( Abhijeet, Freddy, Sachin, Purvi, Divya?) come to resortand check dead body. There are no signs of gunshot, but they conclude that Sameer was possibly poisoned to death. Abhijeet expresses his initial investigation, but guests decline saying they all heard gunshot sound. Abhijeet asks Freddy and Sachin to check upstairs. Abhay tries to move from there, but Purvi stops him informing that he cannot leave until investigation is complete. Freddy and Sachin proceed to check. Freddy finds dead body of Bindia/Shaila in the room upstairs. CID team checks dead body of Bindia/Shaila. They find that it was Bindia/Shaila who was shot to death. Abhijeet concludes that Bindia/Shaila was shot and guests mistook that Sameer was shot. (waah bhae, If someone is shot there would be blood, and all guests didn't know about that, 😲Also no one checked upstairs until CID came. It would be intrinsic reaction to check the upstairs,😲 samajh gayi.. CID ka kaam hum kyon karev😉 ).They search for gun.
Abhijeet takes picture of Bindia/Shaila and enquires who she is. Veer identifies her as Shaila ( He is supposed to be her husband, and he never realized she was missing 😛). Sameers parents disclose the night incident. Sameers mother further discloses that Bindia/Shaila asked Naina to accompany her to hospital. Even though Naina was willing, Sameer and others decline. (It's very clear that Bhindia/Shaila wants to talk to Naina in private which everyone else is obviously avoiding). Sameers' mother also informs that they never called Bindia/Shaila to the party and Bindia/Shaila came with her supposed husband. Abhijeet questions Veer and he confesses that he is an actor and was paid to act as husband. Freddy and Purvi return saying there is no sign of gun in room. Freddy also informs that room was locked from inside (Then how did Sameer come out and how did CID enter the room😕).
West Bengal, Next day morning:
Byomkesh and Ajit arrive at house and find that old man is dead. Byomkesh enquires how death happened, someone replies that the old man got heart stroke and passed away. Byomkesh observes dead body, finds residue from the medicine cup and conclude that old man was poisoned to death by rat poison. The nose was bleeding, his palms had signs of injury and traces of rat poison are found in medicine cup. Byomkesh enquires about medicine cup and learns that Abhay prepares the drink and Anurag brings medicine. In kitchen they find dead body of Anurag. Anurag throat was cut, but Byomkesh observes that Anurag nose was bleeding and his hair is very week (Arsenic Arsenic, slow poisoning). Byomkesh concludes that Anurag was slow poisoned by regular contact with poison rather than eating poison and throat was cut so that Anurag cannot disclose things to others. Byomkesh finds traces of poison in nails of Anurag, Asks a guy to call Police( Awe CID Bengal not allowed 😉) and searches kitchen and finds poison.( I love the way he grabbed the jhadu piece to get the material from nails, Simple and perfect 👏). Ajit suspects Abhay as Abhay used to prepare medicine.
Mumbai, At Resort:
Purvi sends all eatables, dead bodies to Forensic lab. Abhay asks for permission to leave, Abhijeet suspects why Abhay was looking in hurry from long. (aah!! sharp shine ❤️). Naina and others don't recognize Abhay ( ye kya party hai,😲😲 jaan pehchan wale se jyada strangers hai party me😉.. now cat thinks she should have been there too 😆). Abhay says Sameer knows him and he is from Bengal. Freddy suspects Abhay as Abhay is acting weird.( Ok everyone suspects Abhay means Abhay is not the culprit ⭐️)
West Bengal, At home:
Byomkesh has argument with Ajit that if Abhay was culprit, he wouldn't be vanishing on the day Bhadralok kaka was murdered. He says culprits make sure that they would not be doubted. Since it is case of slow poisoning and Bhadralok kaka property will not go to Abhay ( It's revealed that Bhadralok kaka told so to Byomkesh), there is more to these deaths. He concludes that rat poison will take them to culprits.
Mumbai, Forensic lab:
Dr salunkhe reveals that Bindia/Shaila was shot on her waist in 180 degree angle ( straight line) from 10 Ft distance, Which means that the murderer was of the height of Bindia/Shaila waist or was sitting on floor. ( Why? gun could be hidden at waist height object in the room or she could be shot from any open window base). Dr Tarika reveals that Sameer was poisoned by drink. Only that glass had poison and they found soap at rim of the glass only on that glass. CID team ( ACP sir, Freddy, Sachin, Shreya) concludes that poison was mixed in rest room. ACP sir asks the girls' photo be published in all new papers and TV channels so that someone could identify her.
Meanwhile Naina and family arrive at bureau with a complaint that someone was following Naina. They show a letter and photos that were sent to Naina. Letter asks for Naina to meet him/her/them alone at 7 PM, whereas photographs show Naina at some foreign contry. Naina declines the photographs being hers. Naina also suspects Abhay as she has seen him around her house couple of times. Naina family is scared of Naina security. ACP sir assures that one CID officer will be assigned to guard Naina. ACP sir asks Abhijeet to find how Bindia/Shaila was shot and who mixed poison in rest room.
West Bengal, At some store:
Byomkesh and Ajit arrive at general store, enquire about rat poison. The shop keeper reveals that he sold 1.5 kg of rat poison to Abhay. Byomkesh suspects the behavior of the shop keeper, concludes that someone wants to trap Abhay, asks Ajit to watch shop keeper and proceeds to check Abhay room as Byomkesh thinks Abhay might be suspecting some person.
Mumbai, At resort:
Freddy and Sachin inspect wash room and question a resort worker. Resort worker identifies Abhay as the one who walked into rest room with a glass of wine and mixed something in it. Abhijeet and Purvi inspect the room and find gun in cupboard drawer (Excellent work by AS^2 👏 Oh !! sharp shine , BTW, What did I tell before 😉). CID team suspects Sameer to be killer of Bindia/Shaila. Abhijeet asks to trace Abhay by his mobile and find out about recent carpentry work in the room where Bindia/Shaila is found dead.
West Bengal, at Bhadralok kaka house:
Byomkesh searches Abhay room, finds few photographs of Naina ( Foreign location ones) and also finds a Mumbai address scribbled on paper. He concludes that Abhay is in Mumbai.
Mumbai,At some house:
CID team ( Daya ( Finally 😛),Freddy, Shreya, Jaywanthi) arrive at house looking for Abhay, finds his daed body and a person who was about to run from the back door. Daya stops him and finds that he is Byomkesh . Byomkesh reveals why he is here, shows photos of Naina he found, also informs that Abhay was poisoned to death by some lady whom Abhay knows very well. Byomkesh also reveals that he knew who the lady was and asks CID team to accompany him. Daya sends Freddy and Jaywanthi with Byomkesh and proceeds to interrogate Naina about the pictures.
At CID bureau:
Shailas mom arrive at bureau, Parallel Byomkesh, freddy and Jaywanti find Charuma who was packing her belongings to leave Mumbai. Byomkesh declares that she (girl being told as Charuma) is not the real Charu. In bureau, shailas mother identifies Naina as Charu, daughter of Bhadralok who was their neighbor. (what a twist!!! Am I watching golden era episode by error😲⭐️). Shailas mom reveals that Charu and her mother left house when Charu was 12 years old. Shaila and Charu studies in USA together later. Bhadralok was not interested in finding his daughter and wife, so took care of his bhateeja Abhay. Couple of years later, Bhadralok got call from Charu that she is at Delhi. While on the way bhadralok met with accident and nobody knows what happened later. Shaila was shocked to find Charu as Naina and came to Mumbai to tell Naina that she is actually Charu. They never informed anything to Bhadralok because he was a heart patient. Abhijeet concludes that even Abhay was here in Mumbai to let Naina know that she is actually Charu. Abhijeet wonders why Charu is identifying herself as Naina, Who the charu at Bengal is?
At some under construction building:
Some goods kidnap original Charu ( Naina) and try to bury her in wall alive. Sameers' parents arrive there and it's revealed that they are behind all this. (It's kinda guessable after we know about Naina Charu puzzle, but before this was totally not guessable👏👏). Before they could kill Original Charu (Naina), CID team ( Daya, Nikhil and Shreya) arrive there, saves Naina and take Sameers' parents into custody.
CID bureau:
Confession by Sameer parents and duplicate Charu reveals that Sameer parents worked with Bhadralok for 20 years hoping to hire his property. Since Abhay didn't want to hire property, they were about to acquire whole property. But Original Charu contacted her father. So They planned an accoident of Bhadralok and Charu to kill them. But They survived, where in Charu lost her memory. So they made their daughter Naina as Charu. It was possible since Bhadralok never saw Naina. They named Charu as Naina, married off the original Charu to a fake son. They killed Bhadralok for property, Abhay and Shaila to make sure they won't reveal truth to original Charu. ACP sir delivers Phasi dialog. CID team thanks Byomkesh for his help. 😳( I want to thank Byomkesh too, itna acha episode ban gaya 👏👏)
