Loyal viewers of Sony Entertainment Television will witness a one-of-its-kind initiative with the integration of their two very popular weekend shows, CID and Adaalat. There will be action, drama and whole lot of suspense as CID, produced by Fireworks Productions will be pitted against the nation's best defending lawyer K.D. Pathak in Adaalat (Contiloe Entertainment).
Yes, it will be CID V/s Adaalat in the three hour film that will be aired on 20 December.
The interesting story chosen by the makers will have gripping twists, is what we hear. As the case will start, the CID team and K.D. Pathak (Ronit Roy) will be at logger-heads fighting a particular case. As the story will progress, they would unite to solve the case.
As per a source, "This integration of CID and Adaalat is an effort to bring together the audience of both the popular shows. This movie will have a fascinating story, with lots to look forward to."
We tried contacting Producer of CID, B P Singh as well as Producer of Adaalat, Contiloe Entertainment but they did not revert to our messages.
The shoot for the CID-Adaalat movie is already underway.
