Actually, its not cleared at all whether Abhijeet sir talked with ACP sir or not...

No Di.. KBC will start from 8.30 pm.. It will not finish within one and a half hour.. Even CID promo says friday and saturday..

No Resh.. KBC will air Mon-Thu..
Abhi sir addressed 'sir' during call.. The person can be any other HQ official or DCP too.. He told Tji he will talk after ACP sir's comeback..but in next epi he already sent application.. It means it was sent to other higher officials.

He perhaps contacted ACP sir and sent application on his advice after much persuasion

As its not shown till now then i dnt think it would happen...ACP sir cant accept his resignation just for this reason...
