Hi Folks,
I have been a long time viewer/fan of CID (first time posting here in CID forum).My question what was the whole point of DS track.I always felt that when Tarika was paired with Abhijeet ,their track started,I was wondering who would be paired for the lonely wonderful soul Daya.
Then entered Shreya and this indirect so called romance was being introduced between Daya and Shreya and I was wondering well may be eventually Daya found someone.
Now with the current plot and the whole drama going on (the way Shreya character has been depicted as a confused soul and even poor Daya shown emotionally lost at times), I wonder what was the point of this track.
Abhijeet has always been shown as a instrumental factor to bring Daya-Shreya closer.But in this current track even he is corned by emotional torture of Shreya's father for a ridiculous reason and shown helpless.
Are they going Bollywood style ...
I feel sure that marriage between Shreya and Sid is not going to happen and this track is to make Daya and Shreya come closer(something might happen in Shaadi day and Mr Sid refuses to marry Shreya or Shreya finds her Mr Sid is a villian in name of a good guy something like that.I feel that they might not show Daya-Shreya marriage,it might be back to square one with the indirect romance once this track is over.)
Not sure where this is heading to but the whole DS track has been going on for nearly 2 years,I have been wondering why give life to such a track if the idea was to eventually destroy it or make a dramatic twist for TRP.
I feel that it was better to leave it like Tarika-Abhijeet track i.e episodic romance and focus on the investigative plots instead of making it a dull soap opera.
If I had to make logic out of creatives thinking ,the idea is CID officers are also humans and they also have a life and they also can fall in love,have emotions,can live a normal life apart from their work which is fair and true but why not show it a practical/nice way than making it a BW or dramatic soap opera style.
CID is different from normal soap operas and hence it has so many fans ,why make it a soap opera style.guess its a TRP game after all.Guess more drama awaits.
CID main emotional theme is the friendship of Abhijeet-Daya ,its better they focus on that and keep the romance part episodic if they dont have any plans to take the romance part forward rather than this soap opera drama track.
