Why do you like such episodes? - Page 3

Agreed with what has been said about the loopholes. 👍🏼 It's been long since I watched most of these episodes, so can't recall all the details. However here are a couple of more points.

1. Regarding the bomb, I'm pretty sure it was for dramatic impact, to adjust timing for maximum effect. It's something commonly done in most films, shows and novels everywhere. Of course it's not always realistic but the realistic version is comparatively boring isn't it. 😛 😆

2. Regarding the bro, a lot of civilians are surprisingly not vigilant and commit such mistakes. I think Freddy sir and Sudhakar should've asked him at least, but he is their senior after all so I guess it's okay for them not to enquire further. Regarding the guy shooting the air, the deadline was over but he was perhaps not yet sure whether their mission had actually failed or not. Since Daya sir's family were their assets he was not immediately willing to squander that until absolutely sure.

3. Shrapnel from bomb explosions can cause serious damage to life and property sometimes even a bit over the radius. As far as I know, moving the bomb to a safer open spot is preferred provided there's sufficient time. Also before the first explosion takes place, I don't recall any rapid timer being displayed. The squad guy seemed fairly cool and confident as he proceeded.

Vis, which episodes you mentioned all are my favorite. @Shagnika mentioned very good point that they are human being not super-human so i cant consider all those (which u mentioned) as Loopholes. May be in critical eye all those can be considered as loopholes but when I watched all those I never ever think such points which you mentioned.
I think its better to think what happened rather to think what would be happened. 😛

I guess somewhere down the line it comes to the chemistry that the team shares and works as a unit especially trio that makes me like these episodes ...

They had their share of faults and loopholes .. but the overall packaging was very appealing .. it helped us stay gripped to the screen ..

And like someone said here .. if they had shown the way you mentioned woh ek punch jo hai woh na hotha ..

Truth to tell in that era there was a charm of crime thriller.. Strong story line, perfect team work, proper investigation kept me glued while watching those episodes..that's why I love them and they are my all time favourites..
I didn't think of these points untill you pointed out them Vis di.. I would say these are not loopholes.. These are after all part of normal human behaviour.. One can't be 100% accurate always..untill they are portrayed as super humans..

I have a few questions about some episodes.

1. Stolen Dynamite:

Why did Daya sit in the bar till he heard gunshot? Why didn't Daya run after the car? Why didn't Daya take someone else's bike and follow them? Why didn't Daya call police control room immediately after car went off with Abhijeet? They could have caught the car within a few hours.

How did they get so much time to shoot the movie and show it to the guy when the bomb was ticking? Why did bomb explode exactly after ACP and Abhijeet arrived, why didn't it blast a few minutes early? Was bomb waiting for both of them to come???

1.Because abhijeet threatened him not to come out and follow him

2.He tried but it is not possible to run behind a car thought daya is shown as a supercop

3.,4.,5. Then abhijeet would have never lost his memory and they could have never introduced his character with a tragic past. He was meant to be younger version of ACP sir and i guess that's why the tragic personal loss too.

6. They just edited the previous footage not shoot the movie.

7.,8. Well then the team bonding could never have been shown. This is a TV adaptation so in the end everything has to end positively. They can't show after so much efforts CID team fail to save the factory.

2. Injured Wiitness:

How did the 2 goons enter Daya's house? Didn't Daya's bro look through the peep hole before opening the door? When Daya was taking a rough looking guy into the ICU how come Sudhakar and Freddie didn't suspect him? Why didn't they ask Daya who was the unknown guy with him?

How was Daya allowed to go inside alone? Why did Asha take so much time to reach the ICU? When the guy with Daya didn't phone Daya's house, why was the other guy shooting in the air? Why didn't he shoot straight at Daya's family? Was he waiting for Abhijeet to enter?

1. 2. - The brother was new in town and he never knew who were the people that come to daya's house. He opened the door and then the goons barged in.

3. 4. - Even if they did they couldn't question their senior that is Daya. If it was Asha she would have asked him.

5. He was the CID cop and CID was the one protecting the witness, so there wasn't a need to restrict Daya's entry.

6. They couldn't have created drama of a cop's mind to follow the duty or save the family, if asha have reached there in time.

7.8.9. - If they were there to kill they could have killed one of the 3 members of family in front of daya so daya would never ever try to cross them. We can see the goon at home and with daya were as scared as daya were, that might be everything could go wrong. The one at home was trying to scare family so that if need be the family would talk to daya to do the needful. And if abhijeet have not entered and saved the family we could never see the relation which we call DUO now to start or it might have taken few more episodes.

3. Stolen car

CID team wastes time in taking the car to a lonely place, trying to shied the car by using sacks of sand etc...was all this necessary? Wasn't it a waste of precious time?

Again in the end CID team reaches a few seconds before the bomb explodes.

1. That bomb was powerful and the bomb squad couldn't make out it's circuit. While the team was arranging sand bags etc the 2 bomb squad members were figuring out how to diffuse it. They couldn't just try it in any locality were innocent citizens were present.

2. We couldn't have get the trio+asha relation. ACP-Asha relation. And the fact that even the bravest of cops have fear.

4. Accused officer

How did ACP commit the mistake of not foreseeing that the guy who had sent the evidence against Abhijeet to one newspaper might send it to another paper? don't you think ACP behaved unlike himself? Why was Abhijeet behaving like a nervous wreck when Daya was picking out fingerprints from phone booth? Wasn't he a sharp thinking guy? How come he didn't suspect the booth guy in the first place?

1. I think this issue was discussed between the editor and acp sir. They guy did tell the editor if he didn't publish he will give it to someone else. And it's not in the capacity of ACP sir to stop media from publishing such a sensational news about a CID cop particularly a reputed one.

2. Abhijeet was in hurry to prove his innocence, not a nervous wreck. Plus this was the first time even ACP sir was hesitating to believe him. After the memory loss it was the ACP sir and the team where he found someone who understands him and close to him. He was worried about loosing all that. There wasn't a sharp thinking guy that time, it was all heart felt. That's why he diidn't suspect the booth guy either. He thought he will be getting help there. Remember it was not the abhijeet who made peace with his past. He was still vulnerable, still trying to create his place, still trying to recognize himself. Else we could have got a Revenge of a criminal kind of episode where abhijeet investigated and stood his ground to know the truth as well as if he was innocent to prove it.
