Written Update: CID Rahasya Dweep 1-Sept 27,2013

CASE TITLE: RAHASYA DWEEP

Scene 1:

Dr. Salunkhe is seen running out of breath in a forest, heavily injured and chased by tribes. Fire laden arrows are shot at him and he dodges them and continues running. He sights a hut at a place and gets inside it frantically searching for means of communication. The lantern provides illumination and he finds a radio set and speaks to a boy who is perplexed. He tells the boy to inform CID that he is in an unknown place. The boy asks him how he had got caught.

FLASHBACK:2 days ago: Dr.Salunkhe is seen having a conversation with ACP sir on the phone while boiling milk. Just when ACP sir cuts the call after bidding good night, the doorbell rings. Perplexed as to who the caller at midnight may be, Dr. Salunkhe opens the door to find goons who had come to kidnap him. Salunkhe's attempts to escape proves futile and int he end he gets caught.

The boy agrees to inform CID

Scene 2: Bureau

The scene shifts to the bureau with ACP sir and his team talking about Dr. Salunkhe's whereabouts. ACP wonders why Salunkhe is missing when Tarika enters and informs them of Dr. Salunkhe. She tells them that Dr. Salunkhe had not been answering calls since 2 days. ACP orders Sachin to go check out with Dr. Salunkhe's house.

Scene 3: Salunkhe's house

Sachin and Purvi come to Dr. Salunkhe's house and find it topsy turvy. They realize a foul smell from the kitchen and they go turn of the gas. Purvi finds Dr's phone and is surprised to see 12 missed calls and the answered call was of ACP's 2 days ago. Sachin then finds a knife with which Dr. has been attacked and Purvi finds a paper with few drops of blood on it.

Scene 4: Bureau

All are shocked on hearing the report and then a boy named Rahul enters and tells them of having got an emergency message while tuning his radio. He said that the person was asking him to inform CID and Rahul tells that the person was a doctor. ACP suspects it to be Salunkhe and Rahul plays the recorded talk to the team. Confirmed of Dr. Salunkhe's call, they decide to trace out the location of the call.

Scene 5: At some place.

ACP and Sachin introduce themselves and ask the man if he could help them in tracing out the location of the call in the recording. The man tells them that it is from a place of 983 deg longitude in the Indian Ocean. ACP wonders what Salunkhe might be doing there. They decide to go and find out.

Scene 6: On the boat

Daya, Purvi, Rajat, Nikhil and Pankaj are aboard on a boat. Rajat, who was guiding their boat suddenly informs of the malfunctioning of the compass. Purvi calls out for Daya and shows him a boat floating above. Wondering what the boat might be doing there, Daya spots something else floating far away and asks Pankaj to swim and find out. Pankaj brings back a fisherman who is unconscious. When he revives, the man named Hariya tells that he had been fishing with his friends here and requests the CID team to take him back to his house.

Scene 7: Bureau

Here ACP and the others are anxious about their team mates and and ACP wonders how Salunkhe found out means of contacting someone. He asks Shreya to continue searching.

Scene 8: Boat

After sometime , he gets wild and makes a hole in the boat and tries to escape but is caught by the others. They temporarily fill the hole and reach the island. Nikhil volunteers to stay on board and clear the mess while the others penetrate the forest.

Scene 9: Bureau

Here the team gets worked up about the whereabouts of the rest their team. As Freddy informs him not any call not being able to reach, Shreya calls ACP and tells that she had located something. Freddy then tells that he knows a person who can acutely tell a place in the sea.

Scene 10: To a house

ACP, Sachin, Freddy and Shreya go to the man's house whom Freddy had suggested. When they enter, the ruddy looking old man introduces himself and tells that he could tell any place if the longitude is given

Scene 11: Forest in the Island

Daya, Purvi, Rajat and Pankaj along with Hariya enter the forest leaving Nikhil behind. After sometime Daya spots blood stains and Rajat tells that it might be Dr. Salunkhe's. Daya takes out a device and checks it up. The B positive indication confirms that the blood id Dr. Salunkhe's. They move on.

Scene 12: The man's house

Here ACP tells the extent and he tells ACP that the officers are on a perilous island and that nobody has every returned alive from there. ACP asks the man to come with them and help them search for the officers. But the man refuses.

Scene 13: Boat

Here Nikhil is attempting to close the hole made by Hariya. Someone is seen watching him from behind. Unaware of this, Nikhil continues to do his work.

Scene 14: Forest

Pankaj suddenly spots a water laden area and Daya suggest that they refresh themselves here. Suddenly Pankaj points his hand up. Following this Daya and Rajat move towards the tree with skeletons hanging down

Scene 15: Boat

Here Nikhil continues to do his work of repair. When finally he was facing the opposite side, someone sneaks up behind him and hits him with a rod and he falls unconscious. The sneaker pours out kerosene with an attempt to burn the boat and Nikhil.

Scene 16: Forest

Rajat brings down the hanging skeletons and they ponder over the matter for sometime after which Daya decides to inform ACP. When he tries to call up ACP, he finds no network. He is surprised to see this and hence he asks Rajat and Pankaj to try informing ACP and tells that he and Purvi would go to the boat

Scene 17: At some place

Now ACP interrogates a man about that mysterious island. The man shudders and tells that no one has returned alive from there. ACP asks if he could come with them to help them, but he declines and offers them his boat. ACP pays him off.

Scene 18: Forest

Rajat and Pankaj go up the mountain with the hope of getting network availability. He continues to search and at a point he gets the signal and calls ACP but the call gets cut due to the weak strength.

Daya and Purvi are walking towards the boat when suddenly Purvi spots smoke rising in the air exactly from the spot they had anchored. They reach there to find the boat in raging flames. They frantically call out Nikhil's name and Nikhil appears from the bushes covered in soot and heavily injured. He explains what happened to him and the other two supports him and go into the forest

Rajat and Pankaj along with Hariya are standing deep inside the forest when Daya appears. Rajat is shocked to see Nikhil's condition and Daya tells him what had happened. Rajat also reports his failure to contact ACP sir. Hariya panics and starts grumbling that the place was very dangerous. As he is telling this, an arrow pierces his chest from behind and he falls forward shocking everyone there. Daya tries to revive him but he dies. Purvi panics and calls Daya who sees number of arrows flying towards them from mid air.
