Someone had to hold the fort at headquarters.

It had started with a cool episode.. didn't really progress much with the story in the first episode, but surely was gripping ! Duo action scenes after ages, super shots at river rafting and so on ! It surely was something to make CID fans happy.

The following episodes brought down the standard drastically. Duo got seperated. Stories turned stupider day by day. With the entry of DCP and Dhenchu the background story had already started becoming OTT and pointless. The general cases didnt help either as it seemed even more stupid to see Mumbai CID solving cases at Haridwar 😕

The Chitrole-Dhenchu plot became so messed up that one surely loses all hope of the plot going anywhere towards making sense.

With the final episode, the series did turn me happy as a Trio fan... although story wise it continued to be far from logic, one cannot but admire the three of them - ACP, ABhijeet and Daya. The "Man on the bus" shots surely made me nostalgic and feel good. I would still say that it could not reach upto the level of the original classic, but it did manage to scare the hell out of me... I kept on telling myself - Why do they need to take such scary shots !!!!!! 😲 But then... They are our favorite CID officers...and they are capable of taking any amount of risks and conquer them ! The camera work was brilliant as well, like always...

Loved how Abhijeet and Daya help each other throughout this shot. How Abhijeet says "Aaja Daya"... which seemed more like Aditya sir saying it !!! It was sooo sweet ! The ACP-Abhi argument about DCP was another thing that I liked. It brought back the real Abhijeet after looong. Someone who even spoke against ACP if he felt he was wrong. 👏 I have already discussed the rest of the highlighted scenes from the episode in the episode thread. So all I would like to mention here would be the ending scene... The disguise, Abhijeet taking pics and Daya sir posing with the awesome smile on his face...the super cute dance moves made by Adi sir at the end... ACP's genuine laughter...and everything that made me happy at the end !! The case was less OTT and no YSPT which are surely 2 of the very needed good points about it.

Thank you B.P Sir for the trio dose after ages, and for giving us some cute moments to cherish ! I so wish you could always remain behind the camera instead of in front of it. DCP still annoys me so much... yet I cant stop myself from praising the work that you do with the camera and how you bring out the real trio once in a while. 😊

I am glad Ganga series ended...and thankfully on a happy note ! Next week, I am expecting the least of trio though 🥱
