I am just going 🤣...don't ask me why...ROFL
Court cases do stop when a prime witness's daughter is kidnapped while the proceedings are on. It has other implications...it can give the prosecution another case that the defendant is threatening a witness.
The case is not stopped for Abhijeet.

Going by that logic, the girl was still now found when the case resumed. So do courts function based of whether the witness is brave enough to risk the lives of their near and dear ones. Suppose Akash had not agreed to give his testimony for his daughter, the terrorist would have been out even when the court would have known that the witness is under pressure. Its wrong either way. if not about the first hearing then in the second hearing.

Yeah. But then the defence can say that the prosecution couldn't get a witness on time.
If not Aakash, they can bring someone else...the court cannot keep a pending case against someone forever when there's no witness against him...he has the right to be a free man.
The case of the witness's kid being kidnapped is a different case. Only if the prosecution can prove that the defendant is involved in this kidnapping can this case he held up. The prosecution had one month time to find someone else and within this time they only had Aakash who finally risked his life to tell the truth.

To each his own. To me that was major goof-up, something the creative team did not think about. Anyway I will leave it at that. I see this has been discussed here already, no point continuing a stale discussion.

I guess we are done with enough of post mortem stuffs 😆 I am still in awe of the case. Loopholes or no loopholes. It has given me enough of memorable moments ! The one week was special and will always cherish them ! 😊

@vis and @ravi i guess you are right ! ACP sir's reaction in that scene was justified ! I had forgotten about the situation otherwise :-)

Yes, even I felt this...it was a mixed feeling. They can't celebrate right in front of Sia's family who had just received the news of her death. Also there was the issue of telling Abhijeet the bad news...that whatever he risked his life for was totally wasted. I think the reaction was ok.

hmmm...it may be a point certainly...

The scene in the hospital where Abhijeet feels guilty of Sia's death... I really want to give a standing ovation for that particular scene ⭐️
