Then why would you go and get irritated and ask them 'KOI MAR GAYA KYA'?

My definition and perception of OTT is something which makes me cringe when I watch...which makes me feel 'ufff...why are they doing this'...and make me fast forward when I watch online

Eg : Daya shaadi, Daya's burial in Goa, all silly T-flirting scenes, Nik's AC breaking, ACP Giraftaar's 'Freddie and Vivek trying to make ACP alive' scene and scenes in movies like a pigeon delivering a love letter or 3 heroes lying down and donating blood where the blood falls into a common bottle and straight goes into their 'maa's body directly, or when a guy dies, his friend calls out to him and a tape recorder starts playing exactly at that moment.
For me OTT and sweet scenes don't go together. I can't sit and watch OTT scenes with a straight face. I feel embarrassed.
If it's meaningless comedy like the Akshay Kumar scene in Om shanti Om, we know it's supposed to be funny, so that's not OTT for me. Even Rajnikant stunts are supposed to be funny so it's ok.
Maybe it's different for you...I have understood that now. 😊 and when you say OTT, I will take it with a bit of positivity.

Personally giving my opinion nothing in the episode for me personally was OTT ...

I use the term OTT for episodes such as Goa ..when something is purposely made too tough to bear and gets irritating. I didn't find anything similar like that in this episode .. rather it wasn't even slightly strato for me. Maybe the rest have a different definition for OTT .. but for me this was not OTT. It was the perfect emotion I was expecting them to have. I was happy and satisfied.

The discussion out here is getting OTT 😆 ..

So you feel that if a person is declared to be in coma and docs don't give any good news, a guy remembering the 'good times' with his friend is OTT? About the dialogues...what ACP said was logical...he only said that we know Abhijeet is not here and we have to move on. Ateet here is not about Abhijeet being alive or dead.
Like we keep talking that the 'golden days of CID' are not going to come back, ACP says that the days of working with Abhijeet are over.
It's how you interpret it.
Nandini, of course I feel embarrassed about watching something on TV with a few other people if they show something on TV and someone goes on poking fun at it and in reality it turns out so bad that you regret having watched it with them. If people make fun of you for liking such nonsense, it will embarrass you.
Maybe you are immune to all these feelings, I am not.

Long OTT discussion...hmmm...

Frankly speaking i dnt feel any OTT in yesterday episode...rather i noticed one point - whenever they act in any yspt hospital/death scene of anyone drama is too much but while actually some thing happens they show less emotion...i dnt understand why...i am talking the scene where acp sir got the news that "Abhijeet ko hosh aa gaya"...his reaction is very casual as Abhijeet woke up from last night accident (like that)..it was very unexpected to me...

Finally i got the time to write what i feel about saturday's epic. uff these guests. i didnt eat anything on saturday except for a little bit of breakfast and i was in my room all day worring about abhijeet. my mum was really angry becuase she was bored sitting at home. At 7 i heard the news over here that abhijeet is fine i was really happy but i didnt watch it until it aired and then when it aired i was extremely happy because it was the best episode of the year. at around 11'oclock my dad and brother came home and brought some food from a takeaway shop and we all had a mega feast. for me it was a celebration of abhijeet's return. i don't know what my parents were thinking.

The episode was fantastic they were they took abhijeet to hospital it was truly good. when the doctor come out of the room i though he was related to Ekta Kapoor because the way he was explaining everything in silence but the reaction from every one was really good. i also liked the way freddie talked to God and prayed for abhijeet's well being. the photos that day was looking out was the one i saw in India forums as well. the one where both of them are laughing at freddie and the next one where daya and abhijeet are in daya's house and looking after the kid and they way daya cried for abhijeet explaining why he was sad for his best friend and best part was the hospital when abhijeet came back to life and nok jhok with salukhe. for the first time tarika talked to abhijeet because whenever abhijeet flirts with her she just smiles nothing else for the first time i heard her say something to abhijeet in response - not that i like there jodi or anything. As soon as everybody informed abhijeet about sia his reaction was expected because he had a good relationship with her and he went back to investigation with the memories of sia and the last bit was soo good they way he went running up-to her and woke her up was amazing i just loved the last bit. i would rate it 10 out of 5 it was that good.
