Why CID is going BAD to WORSE (Quality wise)

I'm as much of a fan of CID as anyone else in this forum. BUT, it pains me to see the current track of CID episodes to be quite immature compared to those golden days of (mainly through the years from 1998-2002).
CID Today is going BAD to WORSE mainly because of it's redundent narrative, poor POOR acting, weak character development. I think their is a big reason to be concerned if CID can no longer produce character development, since the show's overall longitivity and it's 15 year stretch owes to it's character development. In an recent interview I've seen on youtube of Shridhar Raghavan, he talks about how (when he use to write for CID) that B.P. Singh use to demand a new script from him within a 24hr time frame. And he found it to be quite stressful as a writer to come up with a new story in that short notice. I'm wondering, if this is the case currently as well. B.P. Singh, in my opinion, is slowly killing his own show. He's running after quantity, and not quality. And this is clearly quite evident even from CID in the last few years.
I think the show (cast & crew) really needs to take a break. Take a season off, come back in 2013 with a BANG! B.P. Singh should invest in new TALENT!(people like Shridhar Raghavan, who can actually write) and better actors(NOT CID officers), but actors that appear in the show other than the CID officers.
BTW, if my wishes of CID taking a break were to come true and they indeed take a season off. SONY should re-run CID from the start (1998 & onwards). That'll be a definate treat for us fans.

I guess part of the problem is us fans. We can't help but watch every episode of CID. That's why CID even after 15 years of being on air. The show continues to get high TRPs. But the lack of quality content continues to show, from episode to episode. And if the show is now going 3 days a week. The quality will continue to decline.

Was just watching the below episode of CID:
And from this clip alone. One can't help but admire why CID was GREAT from the beginning. The writing, acting, character development, facous on detail of investigation, the importance of forensic science in each murder/suicide case.
Gosh! how I wish this was used as aptly today.

Why blame the makers? It's Sony who wants it. They have asked FW to make 3 episodes per week...and FW is getting the money for it...then why would they bother?
On top of all this the TRPs are rising every week...can anyone on this planet explain why? we have reached a stage where no one cares about quality. It's business. As long as the business shows profits, who will care about what they are doing?
There is a chance that this tri-weekly will eventually result in too much dilution of what held it together - the trio. We never get to see duo/trio investigating together except an odd scene in a month. Audiences waiting eagerly, hoping to see them together is probably what gives them TRPs for even the lousiest episodes. Now it is further going to reduce and people will stop waiting for this...that's when the TRPs will hopefully (what am I saying!!!) go down and they will see sense.
But tri-weekly is a point of no-return. They cannot suddenly remove the new members and go back to weekly/bi-weekly. It will have to face the axe, like the daily Aahat..but I think that day is slightly far off because trio have too big a fan following...also we had thought this would happen with bi-weekly, but Sony and FW are better at analysing their business than the audience.
Whatever happens from now doesn't affect me. I have enjoyed it for the last 14 years and have a big treasure of memories with me...nothing will change that or what trio mean to me.
Let it go on...any day a crime story is better than teary shaadi soaps. I have to forget that this show once had a trio and watch it without comparing it with the classics.

You have a point. But it also says that Fireworks/B.P. Singh are "Sell outs" to captilism over quality content. The sad part is that, the show's overall impression can be turned into a nuclear expolsion compared to a fire bomb only if they turned to their original roots and realize what made them.

Let's get realistic...do you think they are doing this for charity? Definitely no...they are working for money...as long as something is working well and getting them money (and fame as a bonus), why will they bother?

Hence, that's what I mean. If money is what saduces them, than their sell outs, all of them. Little realizing, if they went back to their roots, they not only could be making more money, but also pleasing us fans too.

They think of short term benefits...I don't think they want to think long term.Waise bhi don't you think trio will be itching to try something new/diifferent/something which does justice to their acting abilities? They are continuing because the show is doing well and they have their hands full with work.

You know something...some commercial movies are horrible...no one appreciates them, yet they are 'hits'...some films are much better, require much better acting talent, the stories are more meaningful and remain in our minds for a long long time, yet they are not 'hits'.Who cares about such art films? People who watch it enjoy them and love them for a long time, but is that where the money is? Absolutely no.
Tell me - which is a better movie - Khosla ka Ghosla or Singh is King?
