U can try Cyberlink Powerdirector...its very easy one...it supports all kinds of files...

I don't want to copy into a VCD. I need to save it as AVI/MP4 or something and upload into youtube. Complicated...

On top of it...the VCD itself is partly corrupted.

U need higher software...like cyberlink 10...corrupt file har koi software import nehin karta...movie maker to koi chance hi nehin...

I give you the best suggestion,

take it to a studio and give it to the man asking t wirte it into a pen drive .. that's what I would've done ... though I can do the stuff myself if i'm in a studio.
