Rangmunch. TV is back with the TRP Rating for the week 20th to 26th February 2012. Let's see what the weekly report card suggests about our favourite shows on Television.

HITS of the Week!

Sandhya and Suraj of Diya aur Baati Hum on Star Plus continues to rule the viewers hearts and the TRP chart with a TRP rating of 5.88.

Saath Nibhana Saathiya on Star Plus for the 2nd consecutive week has garnered a TRP rating of 4.97 and manages to stay at 2nd position.

Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai on Star Plus has climbed up to 3rd position with a TRP rating of 4.42. The twist in the tale has definitely worked in the favour of the show.

Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon on Star Plus has slipped down to 4th position this week on the TRP chart with a TRP rating of 4.04.

Balika Vadhu on Colors has secured 5th position this week with a TRP rating of 3.80. Audiences seem to have loved the return of Dadisa.

CID on Sony has garnered a TRP rating of 3.78 and is on 6th position on the TRP chart.

Ek Hazaron Mein Meri Behna Hai on Star Plus has now come down to 7th position with a TRP rating of 3.69. Looks like Manvi's cancer revelation did not go down well with the audience.

Pavitra Rishta on Zee TV has moved from 9th to 7th position on the TRP chart this week. It achieved a TRP rating of 3.49. Manav and Archana is back with a bang!

Uttaran on Colors with all the drama has managed to secure its position among the top 10 shows this week with a TRP rating of 3.40. It now stand on 8th position.

Crime Patrol of Sony Entertainment Television slipped down to 9th position on the TRP chart with a rating of 3.30.

Yeha Main Ghar Ghar Kheli has entered the top 10 shows this week. The audiences seem to enjoy the Abha Vs Albeli track as the show has garnered a TRP rating of 3.00.

MISSES of the Week!

This week Bade Acche Lagte Hain on Sony has missed the TOP 10 slot with a TRP rating of 2.90 followed by Sasural Genda Phool on Star Plus with a rating of 2.67. Last but not the least, Hitler Didi on Zee TV garnered a TRP rating of 2.50 and Pratigya got a rating of 2.31.

RM Recommends!

Parvaarish on Sony and Afsar Bitiya on Zee with its twists and turns have managed to entertain the audiences. While the former secured a TRP rating of 1.95, the latter got a rating of 1.90 this week.

Punarvivaah on Zee TV has got a good response on its very first week with a rating of 2.6. Audiences seem to like the matured storyline. Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch Kaha on Colors is slowly picking up momentum with a TRP rating of 2.05 this week.

This week, three new shows have premiered on television. Amrit Manthan on Life OK, Shubh Vivaah on Sony Entertainment Television and Jamuna Paar on Imagine TV.

The top ten programmes of Week 9 were:

I'm glad that Non-fiction crime based show(Crime Patrol) ruled the charts for the first time beating all rhona-dhona, duppatta shows.👏 They promoted those episodes very well since one month.

I'm happy for CID being at 3rd spot and getting very good TRP for normal episode with normal story and without silly scenes and OTT dialogues.👏 (Saturday episode deserved this one).

Like Crime Patrol , "CID" also has the capability to reach top position if they avoid silly lab flirting scenes, OTT dialogues, forceful comedy and give main leads proper screen space in a much professional way like in Saturday's episode.😳

P.S.: I think we have TAM meter at my home(not sure though), whenever we watch shows fully including ad breaks those episodes pull max TRP's..😆(We saw Saturday CID fully and my mother saw CP).
