and you have mentioned the story 'lady or the tiger' in the 'member on hot seat thread'..

so was it in your school syllabus or you just read it without it being in syllabus???..

its quite an interesting question from the story always..as many possible explanations can be formed

It was in our school syllabus, yeah. We had a big debate in our class about what the answer should be, and it was really enjoyable. Quite a unique story, I must say!

ya...its always a debatable question..similar debate was in our class as well😆

So an ICSE student?its in the ICSE syllabus for class X..I too have done ICSE..

the short stories is a wonderful collection of nice stories

Yep, I'm an ICSE student (I almost wish I had studied in CBSE though, it makes preparing for entrance exams a whole lot easier). It was in "A Miscellany Of Short Stories" na? I found my old copy of the book while cleaning my room last month and really loved reading through it once again. 😃 "Jenny" and "Happiness" are truly beautiful stories too.

correct..its 'a miscellany of short stories'😊..I too have kept the book..even julius caesar..

I am glad that I did class X from ICSE,as I think the syllabus was perfectly etched out..and rather some people said it(icse) puts the students ahead of their peers in other boards...

I got to hear this from many uncles & aunties😆

not only english but other subjects' syllabus too was well etched out...'history & civics' was so vast..but our teacher taught us so well...she had put in a lot of effort...
