I hope they've improved their skills at inspiration after the Manav Bomb and Gumnaam Bachha days.

The Background is another thing that needs to be improved... sometimes it's so annoying!

I think Feroz Patel provided some really good background music for CID Special Bureau. Even Sanjay sir's cues for earlier episodes were fantastic. Nowadays, I still haven't managed to properly discern the dialogues in some episodes after repeated views, thanks to the drone obscuring them.

BGM was really good upto 2008... nowadays we rarely get a scene without music... 😡

Is there any need for BGM at each scene?

The music is downright inappropriate for some scenes. I guess jab stories ka hi ye haal hai, then "technical" details like the background music are pretty much at the bottom at the creatives' list. If you get to watch English shows like Lost or The Pacific, note how beautifully and carefully each scene has been scored. Like DK said, silence can be the most lovely and appropriate score for some scenes.

I wonder how Mr Sanjay Wandrekar could be the same guy who had given BGM for 'Man on the Bus'.
Listen to the beautiful BGM in the mountaineering scenes and the cuuutteee music when Abhijeet says 'jab us aadmi ka accident hua toh tum wahan kya kar rahe the'...
Is he the same guy who creates that loud WHHHINNNEEE these days, preventing us from listening to any of the dialogues????
