The CID team were spotted in their best of moods during a shooting in the city recently

What happens when the entire cast and crew of a popular detective series visit the town? A lot of action and excitement indeed! Friday afternoon witnessed a similar scene when the cops of the TV serial CID came down to shoot in Pune.
The entire team comprising Shivaji Satam, popularly known as ACP Pradyuman, Aditya Shrivastava aka senior inspector Abhijit, Daya Shetty, the 'darwaza todo' specialist Daya, Narendra Gupta, the one and only Dr Salunke, Dinesh Phadnis, the funny Fredericks along with Vivek Mashru, Jasveer Kaur, Hrishikesh Pandey and Shraddha Musale were in town to shoot at the Taljai Tekdi.
"We are here to investigate a case, as usual!" says Shivaji Satam, who is extremely fond of the city. "I simply like everything here in Pune," he adds.
The funny-boned Fredericks (Dinesh Phadnis) is not all that funny in real life, instead he is a calm, composed and an intellectual person. Dinesh has written and scripted several Marathi films and shows. "I like it here, because even in such hot temperatures we don't sweat much, which is almost impossible in Mumbai!" he says.
Daya, who was recently seen in a dance reality show, feels he tried balancing both, but since CID is quite hectic, he lost the show. "I would have otherwise been in the finals of Jhalak...."
Hrishikesh Pandey, another CID officer says, "Our serial is very taxing as we shoot for 29 days a month. So it is not like any other daily show." The team is touring all over Maharashtra inclu...
