I always welcome shows which are crime detection centric... so did CID also grabbed my attention in the same way... but there was something special about CID which made me feel about it apart from others... slowly I realised that the characters involved in the show are bringing me close to it...

I didn't follow the show from the very beginging itself, but I watch almost all the old episodes too through re-runs or through online provided data

ACP = the episodes Trial in London followed by Final face off are my all time favourites in the list of ACP Sir special episodes... felt for ACP Pradyumun when he looked upto his duty above his personal relationship with his criminal son... his expressions during different scenes with Nakul were outstanding 👏

Abhijeet = the nanhi gavah episode, where he was not ready to let the little girl go ... that scene was really sweet... 😊

Daya = its the Bheroopiya episode... can't say much about it... 😭 this episode made be spent sleepless nights untill the next episode

Freddy = a selfless officer ready to help others.. 😊 unfortunately we didn't get any Freddy centric episode so far but his character as sensitive officer has always maintain to grab attention from few scenes of different episodes like Daya's abudiction, Crime Target - ACP, talking parrot... etc.,

Asha - " the dying statement ".. I've seen this episode from re-runs... the scene where she was crying for her friend was amazing

Vivek = its the most popular scene of AC series... he was above my expectations... feel like running into the scene to console him..😳

Dr. Salunke & Dr.Niyati = for me, they are the only doctors who managed to reach the best forensic doctors of CID.. Smile

their interaction with the CID team sets them apart from others (no offense meant to any other character, its just my personal opinion)

Sudhakar and Viren = sorry - I never get to see much of them😊 so I can't comment

I FELL FOR THIS CHARACTER WHEN...

a) Acp

There is no one moment when I fell for ACP. It was a gradual increase of respect. One lovely moment was in Missing Bullet - when Daya tries to shoot himself and breaks down in ACP's arms - I loved that scene. I didn't know that a strict ACP would be so sweet to a junior officer.

Then the episode where he lost his sight. I was horribly shocked and was hoping that the loss of eyesight is just a temporary thing, but he was back next week without his eyesight and I was crying my eyes out. Love you sir...👏

b) Abhijeet

Hmmm....😳😳😳😳😳 'Pehli nazar mein aisa jadoo kar diya....'.

Loved Abhijeet from Day 1. I love how he has grown from the brooding, lost, lonely guy to what he is now.

c) Daya

Case of the missing bullet. I am one of those fortunate few who has watched the episode and remembers it. I fell for him with that one expression - when Viren asks him to hand over his gun and badge. Till then I was never a die-hard fan of CID. Never felt bad missing it or anything. But after this episode, I swore never to miss another episode. Daya is the reason I became an ardent fan.

I would also like to add - no doubt Daya is a handsome guy, but more than his looks, I love his nature. In 'Blind Witness', he stays back at ACP's house, though he himself was tired and sleepy. The way he asks Abhijeet to take the Qualis and goes off in a taxi in 'The unknown girl'...he was always tooo sweet.....😳😳😳😳😳

Many have mentioned Behrupiya. I don't want to even think of it. 😭

d)Freddy

Nothing in particular...because he was Michael first...so his character was always confusing. But the first time he made an impact was when he said that dialogue 'aaj tak maine kiya kya hai, yes sir, no sir ke sivay'. I don't know why, it just touched my heart.

e) Asha

WOW...my dear lady - no particular moment. She was there from the beginning and I liked her from then. Loved her guts, body language - everything.

f) Vivek

When he was gasping for breath in the 'Khooni Mosquito mat' episode. I felt suffocated seeing him like that and realised that he is an indispensable part of CID and not one of those temporary replacements.

g) Niyati

I always loved the way she pulls our trio's legs. I didn't see her in sequence from the beginning, but I just LOVED her dialogue in the Taipan Saanp episode - 'Itni zor se dua mat kijiye, dushman paas hi khade hain'. And the 'kiss' wala dialogue with Abhijeet in the 'Khoon Ka Raaz Phate Crossword Section Ke Paas' episode.

h) Salunkhe

It was his intelligence that won my respect for Salunkhe. I remember one episode where he finds out the height of a shooter by tying strings and judging the angle from which the bullet has come. I was bowled.

i) Sudhakar

Hmmm....didn't really win my heart ever. And his tiff with Abhijeet....well........excuse me.

j) Viren

Of course Missing Bullet. I was feeling so bad for Daya and felt happy with the way Viren puts in all the effort to clear Daya's name.

And even before CID, I liked Ashutosh Gowarikar. In fact I took my first look at CID because of him. I missed him for a long time after he left CID, till Abhijeet came on board.

So, that's from me. 😊

here it goes:

a) Acp- when ACP SIR WAS BLind,&was trying to shoot at the target....(tht was sooo touching scene)

b) Abhijeet-i fell for him in the case of talking parrot(-when he says muhe sirf yeh pata hai ki aasman neela hai....n all dat 😆)....i even loved his acting in behroopiya...evn he says daya mein abhii(that made me cry lyk anything😭)...

c) Daya-i lyked him in the case of dangerous lady......i ❤️ed him in the behroopiya episode...his words to acp sir made me cry a lottttttttttttttttt ................😭😭

d)Freddy-he is teh integral part of teh teamm..he made me laugh....acp&daya's words in beheroopya bt him was tooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo gud

e) Asha-undoubtedly,dying statement waala case...i luv her acting,her way of talking,dressing,n all

f) Vivek-his performance in AC 5.........

g) Niyati-shez ma fav forensic lady doctor....her style in unique....datz all

h) Salunkhe-he is toooooo gud....well all his old episodes were too cool/&good...

i) Sudhakar-in d frame-up case.he was gud...datz all

j) Viren-unfortunately,ive seen only 1 episode of viren.

Here it goes

ACP: It was the episode in which he becomes temporarily blind. I hoped that he would soon recover. Can't imagine C.I.D without him.

Abhijeet: The episode 'Sr. Inspector Abhijeet'. I felt so sorry for him when Daya and ACP accused him of murder on the saying of the witch Urvi. 😡

Daya: The episode 'Behrupiya' when he was lying unconscious in hospital and the doctor said he will not survive. I had cried bitterly could not sleep properly for the entire week. 😭

Freddy: It was in the episode "monsoon mystery'. He was depressed for not getting promotion and given less important jobs by ACP.

Asha: it was the dying statement episode. Can't say much about her other than she was the best..

Vivek: I liked his feelings for Freddy in AC 5. His acting was too good in that part..

Niyati: She was one of the best forensic doctors. I liked her confidence and style. I liked her way of saying the dialogue 'maine suna hai ap himaliya ki taruf ja rahe hain" and then explanation abt xerox machine, that followed, in the episode 'return of jewel thief'

Salukhe: he too is one of the best forensic doctors. I felt for him in the episode when his friends where killed by his enemy and he too was targeted.(Case before 15th Aug 10)

Sudhakar: In the frame up case. I felt sorry for him when Abhijeet shouted at him.

Viren; NO comments...........
