what i suggest is photoshop cs5 it's not freeware but i am giving you guide latter after your download wil be completed(Before Installed In Your Computer).
i have adobe approved genuine patch to make your trial version a licensed.

Where one White Bar Displayed In Bottom Part Off Image And Later After Just Press Delete On Just Photo open Position You will see that one white line no where exist in image.

CS3 icon pack thats what you meant rite chinnu di..........but its for vista xp 2003 and versions before that.........!!

yeah....and yours is vista....ok, then please download cs5. And guess it says just for 30 days. And after 30 days you have to reenter pw, given by them.
