In the original case we came to know about the culprits from the beginning, but I still like the case just because the way CID proved that it was a murder and how the sasural wale did execute it, how they convinced the lady to give the dying statement in favour of them. Excellent.

there was two such cases...one in the cid's start and one during acp were blind.

There have been two cases. One was aired in 1998, we don't know the real name of the case but we call it DOWRY DEAD. Daya Sir had not joined CID then. The case was investigated by 3 people - ACP, Asha and Rodericks [Not Fredericks]

The case you are talking about is the case THE CASE OF DYING STATEMENT aired in 2000 and has our best Team in action. In this case ACP Sir was still blind.

Ohhk... So a i guess there can be some sort of expectations from this episde. Even of they keep the original story intact with no changes, then one thing can be the change in the story style for people who have never watched the old one(like me)... So, i am expecting a good episode.,If and only If the execution doesnt spoil it! 😕 I would love to see Abhi-Daya together obviously.,, thats what i am prayibg n praying! Acp sir is in a leave shayad! So no acp tonight. 😭

Not to start with a downer but I am sure this not going to be any close to the original. The actor who played the role of the burnt girl's father did an amazing job. You feel for him, for his daughter. Even the girl who played the victim was brilliant. When i think about the case I can hear her cries, they pierced my heart when I originally saw it way back then and had the same effect even now when I saw it some months back.

The victim in this case we have seen innumerable times and she is not even a decent actress. The father still seems OK but look at the mother, that is pure fake crying. See these things matter. Even if there is not real investigation these supporting cast have to create the right atmosphere for us to feel a part if this but if the girls plight does not touch our heart, this is a failure.

@shagnika... Your wish to see Abhi- Daya together might be fulfilled Today... As there is no ACP.. Abhi- Daya will take Center stage.. and there will be at least 2 to 3 seens where they will be working together..

Aap ke muh mein ghee shakkar. But ACP Sir was not there yesterday too and we saw what they did.

Even if the mother is fake crying look at DUO in the promo, super acting. Give me some good DUO scenes with their potential acting and I will be happy

Really we want some Abhi-Daya scenes, their conversations, we miss these so badly. At least this much we can expect.

yeah I saw Dowry Death superb case and Prabha dii even i remember the father !! he was awsome !! so natural,you could feel as if he was really going through the pain and how can I forget Asha 😍 she was so good in that case !! I remember in one scene before going out of the hospital romm she just turns back once to look at the victim,she was superb there !! Now coming to todays case don't know why I have some hopes,the case will surely not match the older one's level but I feel it wouldn't be that bad (fingers crossed),atleast I'm hopeful and rather sure to see our duo doing a superb act but hope ki they would get more screen time and that too together !!
